Three weeks ago, Carte Blanche viewers were outraged by shocking images of Jan van Aardt’s dog breeding establishment, where things had gone from bad to worse since the show's first exposé in 2001. Carte Blanche returns to the kennels to see what the status is.
In April this year, the UN hosts the second world conference focusing on various forms of intolerance. Religious intolerance will likely be high on the agenda - specifically what’s termed “Islamaphobia”. In South Africa, a recent publication in the University of Cape Town magazine “Sax Appeal” had several Christians hot and bothered. Are playing fields level when it comes to religious tolerance? Carte Blanche tries to find out.
