Episode 4993
Ridge is worried that the relationship between Rick and Phoebe is becoming romantic and doesn't want them living in the same house but Brooke refuses to make Rick leave. As Phoebe is getting modeling tips from Jenna, she finds Rick's ticket to Paris for the next day in his jacket pocket.
Shane arrives at Forrester Originals and asks to see Phoebe. He proudly tells her about his new career and then invites her to dinner, which she accepts. On their date, Shane can tell that Phoebe isn't enthralled. Rick and Jenna arrive, which distracts Phoebe from her date with Shane.
A jealous Phoebe, pulls out Rick's ticket to Paris and Rick tells her he'd forgotten he even had that. Rick calms Phoebe down by tearing the ticket up as he tells her he cancelled the flight last week and that she may be the reason why.
Meanwhile, Pam is packed and ready to leave when Eric informs both her and Stephanie that Pam will not be leaving. Pam feels guilty about leaving her mother. As the Limo arrives, Ann stEpisode out and informs them that Eric offered to move her to Los Angeles. Stephanie is angered by these plans and is suspicious about Eric's actions.

Episode 4994
Phoebe admits to Rick that she only went on the date with Shane to see how Rick would react. Nick spies Rick and Phoebe leave the Café Russe as they realize Shane has already left.
Later at Brooke's garden courtyard, Phoebe asks Rick what he truly thinks about her and he tells her all the wonderful things he thinks about her. Brooke watches their exchange and smiles at their joy but feels uneasy about their growing relationship. Nick and Storm talk business and try to set up a meeting with Harvey Golden (a fashion distributor).
Storm sees Brooke enter and exits abruptly as she takes a seat at the bar which causes Nick to quickly hide the documents he had spread out before him. While he talks to Brooke about Rick he can tell there must be friction between Ridge and Rick. Pam tells Ann about the dress Eric designed for her.
Meanwhile, Eric tells Stephanie that it is her turn to take responsibility for Ann and that he has decided that Pam and Ann are staying in Los Angeles.

Episode 4995
Nick and Storm fly out to meet with Harvey Golden and Storm voices his suspicion and worry over creating a monopoly of suppliers and putting the company in such deep debt. Nick reveals that Harvey wants to meet with him alone.
When Nick gets there, he is greeted in a warehouse by Harvey's sidekick and Nick wonders what he's gotten himself into. The sidekick leads Nick to a speaker phone where he is greeted by the voice of Mr. Golden. Harvey tells Nick he'll sell him the company but he'll owe him more than just money.
Ridge tells Stephanie he's really worried about the relationship between Phoebe and Rick. Stephanie is appalled with the notion that there is something romantic going on between the two but is sure that Brooke would never allow anything physical to happen between them.
Meanwhile, Rick tells Brooke he and Phoebe are just getting to know each other and that he will continue to hang out with Phoebe no matter what Ridge says. Brooke slowly realizes that Rick may be developing feelings for Phoebe that he isn't even aware of. Stephanie confronts Brooke about the relationship between Phoebe and Rick but Brooke refuses to let Stephanie control her or her son.
Eric prepares for the fashion show as Phoebe arrives for her fitting. He tells her that he's seen a positive change in her in the past few days and wonders if there is any special reason for her happy attitude, which causes Phoebe to think of Rick.

Stephanie points out all the future problems between Rick and Phoebe to Brooke, including the two being step-siblings and how the relationship will harm Brooke and Ridge.
Harvey Golden will sell his chain of boutiques with the agreement that Nick will owe him a favor. Nick signs the contract despite his worries. Storm looks over the contract and confirms its legality. Nick tells Jackie that the Forrester Originals' new collection will have no buyers.
Eric shares his excitement for the show with Jackie, who feels slightly guilty that he could be shattered at the show. She tells him there will always be a position for him at Forrester Creations. Stephanie and Jackie argue about who supports Eric more. Phoebe reassures her dad not to worry about Rick. Ridge mentions that the success of the show could force Rick back to Paris to setup an international division.

All of the preparations for the fashion show have been made. Rick tells security officers that Nick and Jackie are not allowed near the fashion show. Rick points out to everyone backstage that the showroom audience is small.
Felicia finds out none of the buyers checked into their hotel suites. Everyone frantically searches for answers but no one is available to comment. Eric has no choice but to cancel the show.
Nick and Jackie announce, at a press conference that is broadcast on television, the partnership and expansion of Forrester Creations and Jackie M. The Forresters have shocked reactions to the news. Eric realizes that with Nick's purchases he has no where to sell his designs.
Stephanie leaves to confront Nick. Stephanie pleads with Nick not to hold her family accountable for the wrongs she committed towards him. Nick reveals he blames everyone who supports her. Pam and Eric embrace when she tries to console him.

The Forresters try to secure buyers as they process what took place. Ridge suggests selling to department stores. Eric turns down the idea. Eric's solution lies in opening Forrester Original shops worldwide to distribute its own product; their own chain of boutiques.
The family decides the risk of opening the boutiques is a frontrunner, but Ridge won't be part of it. Nick, Jackie, Donna, Storm, and Clarke bask in delight. Jackie feels bad for Eric. Nick and Jackie agree that Forrester Originals could only sell to department stores or sell their name.
Taylor receives flowers from Nick and he asks her to dinner on Valentine's Day. Phoebe objects to Taylor's relationship with Nick. Taylor has a daydream about Nick. Brooke asks Nick to stop the war against the Forresters. Brooke asks Nick to consider Jackie M to carry the Forrester Originals' new line. She is shocked when she learns of Nick's date with Taylor.

Brooke is thrown when she finds out Nick and Taylor are celebrating Valentine's Day together. Brooke is jealous as Nick tells her he will give her an answer about Jackie M later. Brooke admits to Rick that she still cares for Nick. Rick doesn't want Brooke to let Nick slip away.
Rick leaves Nick a voicemail about Brooke. Rick assures Ridge he doesn't have Valentine's Day plans with Phoebe. Rick questions Ridge's loyalty to Brooke. Ridge and Rick continue to argue about his relationship with Brooke.
Later, Brooke understands why Ridge has to work on Valentine's Day. She reflects on Nick and Taylor and how she is alone on Valentine's Day.
Meanwhile, Nick leads Taylor into a decked out dining room for a romantic Valentine's Day. Nick fires Taylor as his psychiatrist and they kiss passionately.

As Eric and Stephanie settle into the Big Bear cabin, he suggests selling the place because they could use the money for Forrester Originals but Stephanie refuses due to all of the memories. Brooke waits outside the cabin for Ridge because she doesn't want to go into the cabin by herself, knowing her history with Stephanie.
Eric declares that the four of them will not leave the cabin until a decision is made about Forrester Originals. Brooke thinks a unanimous decision is wishful thinking. Ridge tells Eric that Nick may be considering selling Forrester Originals at Jackie M. Stephanie is furious that Brooke asked Nick.
Stephanie and Brooke have a spat and Brooke runs out of the cabin. Privately, Stephanie admits to Eric that she is scared to start the company over. Despite being afraid, she gives him all the support he needs as they have a pillow fight and make love.
Outside the cabin, Brooke tells Ridge that they can't have a marriage if he takes Stephanie's side in every disagreement.
Later, Eric reveals that the group has worked on 5000 pieces of work together. They decide that with an accomplishment like that they will start their own chain of boutiques.

Brooke reads Eye on Fashion Magazine and is concerned that Donna hasn't gotten good reviews so she decides to go talk to Nick in person. Taylor arrives at Nick's office before Brooke and she and Nick agree to take their time building a relationship. Just as they are about to kiss Brooke enters, but Taylor gives Nick a kiss anyway.
After Taylor leaves, Brooke tells Nick she's disappointed about how their relationship has been reduced to a competition. Taylor re-enters the room because she forgot her purse and is left alone with Brooke as Nick has to deal with a business issue. Brooke tells Taylor she does not want to see Nick get hurt but Taylor tells her to stop meddling in Nick's private life.
Meanwhile, Phoebe is at Insomnia Café for karaoke night with her friend when Rick arrives. C.J. talks Phoebe and Rick into singing to keep the crowd from leaving. As they sing, the chemistry between them is undeniable. Phoebe then asks Rick for a ride home but he is hesitant because of Ridge's warning.

Stephanie is angered that Pam and Ann have decided to move to L.A. Pam is hurt that Stephanie is angry and she tells Stephanie that she will have to deal with it. The Forresters hold a meeting where they decide to open a small chain of Forrester Originals in all the major cities around the world.
Meanwhile, Rick tries to make excuses for not being able to give Phoebe a ride, but she pushes it and jumps into the truck. Rick admits to Phoebe that Ridge has told him to stay away from her but she promises not to tell her dad about the ride.
Rick's truck then breaks down and he calls Brooke to let her know what is going on, but tells her not to say anything about Phoebe being with him. A worried Taylor calls the office because she cannot get a hold of Phoebe and Brooke admits that Phoebe is with Rick.
Ridge is not happy that Brooke hid the truth from him and wants to send Rick back to Europe to keep him away from Phoebe. As Rick and Phoebe wait for help, they share a kiss.

The sexual tension between Rick and Phoebe is evident; there is a definite connection between them. As they lean in to kiss again, Brooke calls Rick and tells him that she told Ridge that he was with Phoebe.
Later at Brooke's house, Ridge is so upset with Rick that he intends to throw him out once he gets home. Brooke pleads with him not to throw Rick out and they begin to argue. When Rick and Phoebe arrive home, Ridge makes Rick leave and Phoebe defends their relationship by telling Ridge that they have kissed and that she is in love.
Meanwhile, Taylor and Nick are flirting and decide to play strip poker. Taylor is winning and both of them are enjoying each other's company. As they are kissing Taylor notices a St. Christopher medal around Nick's neck and she asks about it.
Taylor is upset to find out the medal was a gift from Brooke, but Nick takes it off to symbolize that his relationship with Brooke is over. Taylor is happy again as they kiss and their growing connection is evident.

Ridge tells Phoebe that a relationship with Rick would be wrong because they were both raised as Forresters, but Phoebe tells Ridge that he cannot keep her from seeing Rick.
Phoebe is angry and goes to her room when Brooke (who was outside, off camera talking to Rick) tells her that Rick has left. Ridge tells Brooke that Rick has kissed Phoebe and they continue to argue over the relationship, but Brooke agrees to try and talk Rick into backing off for the sake of the family.
Rick arrives at Bridget's and asks to stay the night telling her that Ridge kicked him out. Bridget leaves for the hospital when Brooke arrives to talk to Rick. A tearful Brooke pleads with Rick to end things with Phoebe now because the future of the family depends on it.
Meanwhile, Nick and Taylor agree that they will always have feelings for their ex's but both are ready to start something new and exciting. They talk about raising children and Taylor realizes the pain that Nick feels for not having a child in his life.

Continuing at Bridget's, Brooke tries to convince Rick that his involvement with Phoebe is wrong, while Ridge, still at home with Phoebe, tries to tell Phoebe that she should be involved with boys her own age.
While Phoebe stands firm about what she felt when she kissed Rick, Brooke persuades Rick that a relationship with Phoebe would put a strain on the family and that they'd also endure the pressures of the press and Stephanie.
With Ridge in the background, Phoebe calls Rick and he breaks it off with her telling her that a relationship is just too complicated for them. Rick's heart is heavy as he asks Brooke to leave. Later, Ridge tries to comfort Brooke saying they avoided a disaster and that the kids would thank them one day.
A heartbroken Phoebe visits Rick and demands an explanation for breaking it off. Phoebe spills her heart to Rick about what she felt when they kissed and all he can tell her is that he is sorry. She runs out of the house crushed and Rick rushes after her. He is heartbroken as well and they melt into a passionate, romantic kiss in the rain.

Ridge tells Taylor that Rick and Phoebe kissed but they have now ended their relationship. Taylor is skeptical about their relationship really being over. Taylor admits her feelings for Nick to Ridge. Brooke arrives at Jackie M to talk to Nick about their divorce.
They soon find themselves on the subject of Rick and Phoebe. Nick thinks Brooke is being manipulated by Ridge which makes Brooke regret bringing it up and then leaves.
Eric surveys the new boutique and likes what he sees but he is still having doubts about opening their own chain. Stephanie is frustrated with Eric's lack of confidence. Ridge wants to use his wedding to Brooke as a publicity stunt for their grand opening. Brooke isn't happy with the plan.
Phoebe is having trouble performing in her photo shoot until Rick arrives and gives her inspiration. Rick and Phoebe agree to keep their relationship a secret until after Ridge and Brooke are married.

Stephanie is angry with Ann when she finds out she isn't looking for a house. Ann admits she wants to stay in the Forrester guest house because she wants to be a part of the family. Pam gives a nervous Eric the comfort that Stephanie denies him.
Stephanie is angry with Ann and wants to send her back to Chicago but Eric refuses. Ann is convinced that Eric wants to keep her and Pam in LA because he doesn't want to lose Pam.
Ridge admits to his family that the grand opening wedding is a publicity stunt. Brooke agrees to go along with it because it's what Ridge wants. Felicia tells Bridget that she has decided not to move herself and Dino to Italy to be with Dante. Phoebe and Rick sneak off to the storage room to be alone and Brooke walks in on them kissing.

Brooke is shocked to see that Rick and Phoebe have not ended their relationship. Phoebe and Rick proclaim their love for one another and Brooke doesn't see the harm in letting them explore their relationship. However, Brooke tells them they must be honest with Ridge about it.
Taylor takes Nick out for a surprise picnic on the Marlin. While they are at sea the boats electricity goes out. Nick wants to radio for help but Taylor convinces him to just enjoy the dark quite with her. They make love.
Stephanie questions whether Ridge is sure Brooke is the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Ridge firmly declares that he and Brooke are going to get married and tells Stephanie he won't stand for any more of her meddling.
Ridge tells Stephanie about Rick and Phoebe's relationship. She is angry with Brooke for letting their relationship progress. Ridge defends Brooke and tells Stephanie she needs to accept her as his wife. Brooke tells Ridge she needs to talk to him about Rick and Phoebe.

Episode 5009
Taylor and Nick are grateful they have found one another. As they sleep, Nick is awakened by the severe rocking of the boat. He sees a tanker headed straight for the boat and rushes Taylor out just as the tanker rips though the Marlin. Nick searches the water for Taylor's body. He finds her and performs mouth to mouth resuscitation to save her life.
Rick confesses to Bridget that he can't stay away from Phoebe even if their relationship if causing a rift between him and Brooke. Jarrett arrives to get an exclusive story about Brooke and Ridge's wedding and they are thrown off when he asks about Phoebe and Rick's relationship.
Brooke and Ridge downplay their involvement and Stephanie assures Jarrett the Forrester scandals are a thing of the past. Stephanie is concerned that the exposure of Rick and Phoebe's relationship to the press could spell disaster for Forrester Originals.
Brooke informs Rick that the press has gotten wind of his relationship with Phoebe. Rick doesn't think his relationship is anyone else's business. Stephanie arrives and demands to know the truth about Phoebe and Rick. From their silence she deduces they are still in love and vows to tell Ridge everything if that's the truth.

Ridge confronts Phoebe about the photo of her and Rick that is floating around on the internet. Ridge tries to comfort Phoebe as she is obviously brokenhearted. Stephanie demands to know the truth about Brooke's support of Phoebe and Rick. Brooke tells Stephanie that no matter what Ridge will always be on her side and if Stephanie doesn't stop meddling Ridge will cut her out of his life.
Bridget gets a call from Nick at the hospital telling her that the boat was destroyed and Taylor was rushed to the emergency room. After Stephanie and Bridget head over to the hospital, Brooke talks with Rick and reluctantly agrees to keep quiet about Rick and Phoebe's relationship if they'll do the same.
Stephanie sees Nick taking care of Taylor and tells Taylor that Ridge is a better man for her than Nick. The entire family arrives to check in on Taylor and Nick asks that they leave to give Taylor some time to rest. Nick tells Taylor he's falling for her. Stephanie tells Brooke that Nick is falling in love with Taylor and she better act quick if she wants him back.
Stephanie becomes increasingly suspicious of Phoebe and Rick's behavior toward one another. Her suspicions are confirmed when she sees them pass a note to one another. Stephanie warns Brooke that Ridge will leave her when he finds out she's been supporting Phoebe and Ridge's relationship.

Stephanie pays Nick a visit and tells him that Brooke is the woman for him, not Taylor. She tells Nick that Ridge and Brooke won't be getting married because she plans to expose Brooke's secrets.
Meanwhile, Brooke tells Rick that she wants to tell Ridge about his and Phoebe's relationship because she doesn't want to lie anymore. Rick assures Brooke that he and Phoebe will be more careful in keeping their secret and they won't get caught.
Stephanie confronts Brooke about keeping the secret of Rick and Phoebe and vows to get proof. Stephanie secretly turns the intercom on at work so that she can eavesdrop on Rick and Phoebe, and she hears their secret plan to meet up at the Big Bear cabin to be alone.

Brooke goes to Nick's house to give him a home-made DVD from Hope and finds that Nick is with Taylor. Meanwhile, Stephanie tells Ridge what she heard; that Rick and Phoebe were planning on sneaking up to Big Bear. Ridge decides to drive there.
Brooke calls Ridge and Ridge tells her that Phoebe and Rick are up at the Big Bear cabin and he and Stephanie are headed up there. He lets Brooke know that he will put an end to Rick and Phoebe's relationship. Up at the cabin, Rick and Phoebe are enjoying their time alone as the sexual tension rises between them.
Ridge and Stephanie walk in on Rick and Phoebe's romantic set-up, and Ridge confront Rick. Brooke gets to the cabin and is upset to see Ridge holding Rick's shirt about to use physical violence. Back at Nick's place, Nick tells Taylor that he is with her because he wants to be and they make love.

Ridge is furious with Rick and grips Rick's collar until Brooke pleads with him to let go. Brooke then admits that she's known about the continuing relationship which further infuriates Ridge. Stephanie insists that Ridge can not marry a woman who lies to him.
Brooke takes Rick into a separate room to continue to plead with him to end the relationship with Phoebe. Brooke makes Ridge and Stephanie leave the cabin with her leaving Rick and Phoebe there alone to talk. Brooke gets through to Rick and makes him see he needs to end it with Phoebe for now. Rick is somber as Phoebe declares her love for him.
On the way home, Brooke tells Ridge she will not tolerate him striking her son and Ridge apologizes. Meanwhile, Nick reassures Taylor that Brooke is in his past, just like the Marlin.

Jackie visits Nick at the house and is sad for him when she sees Nick was watching Hope's DVD. Jackie tells Nick that there still could be a chance for him and Brooke and she is happy to hear Brooke's wedding might be canceled, until she sees Taylor and realizes that Taylor and Nick are sleeping together. Jackie senses how important Taylor has become to Nick, but Taylor can feel the favoritism that Jackie has for Brooke. Taylor is not affected by Jackie, but she feels threatened by Nick's connection to Hope when she sees the DVD on the TV screen over his shoulder in a hug. Meanwhile up at the cabin, Rick puts the brakes on his relationship with Phoebe and tells her he loves her, but he thinks they need to cool down and act like mature adults until they can win over the family. After he leaves, Phoebe declares that she refuses to believe that things are over between her and Rick.
