Taylor tells Ridge, Thorne and Felicia about their mother’s tumultuous past. Felicia argues with Taylor that it can’t be true but begins to believe what she is saying about Stephanie’s revelations.
As Stephanie confronts Ann, Pamela admits that she realized what went on during their childhood (that Stephanie’s father abused her) even though she didn’t fully understand it.
Stephanie asks Ann why she left her alone to deal with her father’s rage; why she knew but did nothing to stop it.

Episode 4951
Stephanie pleads with Ann to make her understand why she never did anything to stop her father’s abuse. Ann won’t admit that she did anything wrong. Eric speaks up for Stephanie and they decide to leave.
On the plane back to Los Angeles, Stephanie tells Eric that she forgave her father but she can never forgive her mother.
Ridge and Brooke talk about Stephanie’s past and they can’t understand how a father could hurt his child.
Hope wants Nick to help her rehearse for the Christmas pageant, but Ridge tells her that he will help her instead.
Taylor admits that she feels safe with Thorne.

Taylor insists that even though everyone gets frustrated with their children, there is no excuse for domestic violence.
Stephanie explains her past to her children (Ridge, Thorne, Felicia - Brooke and Eric are there as well) in greater detail. Everyone is proud that Stephanie found the strength to say what she needed to say to her mother.
Later when Taylor and Stephanie have a moment alone, Taylor encourages Stephanie to confront her father; even though he is dead… she encourages her to speak out loud to him as if he were alive.
Stephanie breaks down as she speaks to her father and Taylor tells Stephanie that she’s a true survivor.

Episode 4953
Bridget and Phoebe strengthen their friendship over tea at the Forrester beach house. Shane arrives to apologize to Phoebe. Phoebe tells Shane that she believes in him and in them together.
Thorne and Donna try to make amends even though Thorne is still upset at Donna for siding with Nick. Nick accuses Taylor of not loving Thorne despite having agreed to marry him. He says that she is only marrying Thorne out of guilt because of what happened to Darla.
Later, Jackie tells Nick that she wants him to start dating again. When Taylor and Thorne are alone, Thorne presents Taylor with a diamond engagement ring.

Episode 4954
Nick and Jackie are frustrated with everything that is going wrong with Forrester Creations (it doesn’t seem to be the same since the Forresters left).
Taylor suggests to Thorne that she could counsel Nick and make him find peace so that he’ll hopefully give Forrester Creations back. She tells Thorne that could be her wedding gift to him.
Ridge is shocked to hear Phoebe defend Shane, but she insists that he isn’t dangerous. A bloody/injured Shane (he was beat up) startles Bridget and arrives on her front deck.
Bridget calls Phoebe and Phoebe begs Bridget to allow Shane to stay at her place for the night. Shane says he will keep his distance so he won’t cause trouble for young Phoebe.
Jackie encourages Nick to become confidantes with Taylor. Nick agrees to attend counseling sessions with Taylor.

Episode 4955
Thorne thanks Taylor for getting Eric and Stephanie’s relationship back on track. Later, Eric tells Ridge and Thorne that they cannot cut corners starting their new fashion business.
Thorne tells Eric and Ridge of Taylor’s plan to get Forrester Creations back from Nick.
Phoebe refuses to testify against Shane and gets Lt. Baker to drop the charges against him. Later, Phoebe visits Shane as Bridget treats his injuries. Phoebe tells Shane the good news; he doesn’t have to run anymore.
Shane is grateful and they share a kiss in front of a skeptical Bridget.
An upset Ridge finds out that the charges against Shane have been dropped and doesn’t want Shane involved in his daughter’s life.
As Taylor counsels Nick, he insists he has no secrets but thoughts of his past come back to distract him.

Ridge tells Brooke about Nick’s therapy sessions with Taylor. She is surprised.
Brooke tells Taylor she doesn’t believe Taylor will be able to counsel Nick.
Ridge asks Taylor how he can help Stephanie. Taylor tells him the wounds may never heal if Stephanie doesn’t reach out to her mother.
Felicia and Stephanie discuss Dante’s trip to Italy. Stephanie tells Felicia that her mother will never be a part of their family. They are interrupted by the doorbell. To her surprise it is Ann and Pamela.
Stephanie becomes angry and closes the door in their faces. Felicia re-opens the door and Ann asks Stephanie for forgiveness.
Ann admits that everything about Stephanie’s father is true and that she has hated herself for not having the courage to step in.

Ann begs for Stephanie’s forgiveness. Stephanie tells her she accepts her apologies, but cannot forgive her and then forces Ann and Pamela to leave.
At the Forrester offices, Nick invites Taylor out for lunch on Nick’s boat. Taylor accuses Nick of trying to avoid their therapy sessions but he admits he is just more comfortable at the Shady Marlin.
As Nick and Taylor start to explore Nick’s past, Nick tells Taylor that the sailor friends he had growing up were better men on their worst days than his real father, Frank Payne, ever was and that they were better off when he died.
Jackie tries to eavesdrop on Nick and Taylor’s conversation from the reception area.

Taylor continues to tell the Forresters that she can try to convince Nick to give the company back. Stephanie, Eric, Ridge and Felicia try to convince Thorne that Taylor seeing Nick is a dangerous idea.
Jackie expresses concern with Nick about seeing Taylor.
Taylor meets with Nick for another session and he talks about his childhood and Captain Kramer. Jackie listens through the door.
He has a flashback to a good memory, and then remembers not wanting to see him anymore. Taylor asks him why, but he is frozen in his thoughts.

Taylor helps Nick dig deeper and deeper into his past. Nick recalls a time when his mother was friends with a man named Captain Kramer.
Jackie is a bit alarmed when Nick brings his name up. Later, Jackie visits Taylor and encourages her to purse a relationship with Nick.
Thorne and Ridge discuss the future of the family business. Thorne then asks Ridge to be his best man when he marries Taylor.

Stephanie leaves Eric and Felicia to tend to the Christmas decorations so she can run a last minute errand.
Eric reveals to Felicia that he is planning to fly in Stephanie’s mother, Ann for Christmas. Felicia has her doubts that anything different will happen between Stephanie and Ann.
Ridge and Brooke read Hope and RJ a story and they all celebrate being a family.
Stephanie later shows up and tells Brooke how grateful she is that she and Ridge have finally reunited.
Alexandria gives Taylor “mommy’s” stocking to have, but Taylor insists they hang it up because Darla is still part of the family. Thorne admits to Taylor that he misses Darla.

Shane and Phoebe exchange gifts under the tree. Phoebe is touched when Shane presents her with a handmade jewelry box.
Ridge is concerned where Phoebe could be.
As Ann and Pamela fly to Los Angeles, Ann admits she is frustrated with the relationship she has with Stephanie. Pamela tries to convince Ann that it is never too late.
Felicia is concerned with Eric’s decision to fly in Ann and Pamela for Christmas. Eric is confident it will be the perfect gift for Stephanie.
Stephanie gives Alexandria a scrapbook filled with many wonderful pictures of happy times spent with her mom.
Everyone is filled with the spirit of Christmas.
The doorbell rings and Stephanie answers the door only to find her worse nightmare standing before her, her mother, Ann.

The family is shocked by Ann’s arrival. Ann pleads with Stephanie to have a change of heart, but Stephanie asks her mother to leave.
Ann tears up, and apologizes for causing Stephanie so much pain and prepares to leave, just as Taylor asks to speak with Stephanie.
Stephanie admits that she wants to forgive her, but she just can’t do it. Stephanie breaks down in Taylor’s arms.
Taylor asks Ann and Pamela to leave the party. Eric begins to play “What Child is This?” on the piano, which causes everyone to join in.
Stephanie hears her family singing as she comes back. Stephanie sees Alexandria grab Ann’s hand to join in the singing.
Stephanie finally finds the strength to forgive her mother as the two of them share a long overdue embrace.

Jackie tells Nick the cruise line needs to be redone, but he is distracted. Jackie does not think Taylor is helping Nick but Nick calls Taylor to meet him at his boat for another session.
Stephanie walks in on Jackie frustrated on how a dress looks on a model. Stephanie taunts Jackie about how she will be able to buy back the company at a cheap rate since her and Nick are doing such a poor job.
Later Nick, admits he is bothered because he can’t remember some childhood memories.
Taylor helps Nick relax and he begins to remember that Jackie accepted money from Captain Kramer for sex, as well as other men.
He comes out of his relaxation stage and feels sick, as he remembers and tells Taylor that his mother was a prostitute.

Episode 4964
Nick struggles with the realization that his mother was a prostitute. Taylor tries to help Nick understand why he would block out memories of his mother. Nick explains to Taylor how he left home as soon as he was old enough to.
Stephanie and Jackie argue and Stephanie accuses Jackie of being a whore. Stephanie tells Jackie that as soon as Taylor helps Nick realize what kind of woman Jackie is, Nick will give back the company.
Later at the office, Taylor explains to her co-worker, Dr. Kibe, that she has never seen a more vulnerable patient than Nick. Then she proceeds to tape record some verbal notes about her session with Nick.
Taylor is horrified when she realizes that Stephanie has overheard her session notes about Jackie being a prostitute.
Nick confronts and questions Jackie about her relationships with Captain Kramer and his friends.
Jackie realizes that Nick must know the truth.

Jackie tells Nick that she slept with Captain Kramer and the others for money. Nick remembers bringing Captain Kramer around, hoping that Jackie would like him and that they would fall in love.
Nick is angry with Jackie and tells her that he doesn’t know her anymore.
Stephanie tells Taylor that with this information about Jackie, Taylor has now found a way to get the Forresters their company back.
Taylor tells Stephanie that if she says anything about Jackie and Captain Kramer, she will not lift a finger to help her get the company back and that any relationship they ever had will be over.
Later, Nick blames himself for Jackie’s past and he tells Taylor that it is too late to rescue him. He tells Taylor that he wants her to leave, but she embraces him instead.

Stephanie, Eric, Ridge, Brooke, Felicia, Thorne and Taylor are celebrating on New Year’s Eve.
Stephanie is concerned about Eric’s pain of losing Forrester Creations and convinces Taylor to tell everyone about Nick’s breakthrough.
Stephanie goes on to say how Nick made a deal with Taylor to sell the company back. Taylor recounts that she is not able to reveal any information, but is indeed trying to work something out.
Nick tells Jackie that he’ll never look at her the same way and that it will be hard to ever have the same closeness with her.
Nick later calls Taylor over to give her a gift. Taylor is hoping it will be papers signing the company back over to the Forrester’s.
Instead Nick presents her with a crystal globe, for giving him the world back. Nick then leans in and kisses Taylor.

Taylor tells Nick that he caught her off guard with their kiss. Taylor and Nick reflect back on the night (a long time ago) when they were both drinking and they almost got together and agree it was a very vulnerable time for both of them.
When Taylor asks him about selling back Forrester Creations, he tells her he doesn’t want to sell back without turning a profit first.
Stephanie tells Ridge that Jackie was a prostitute and if Nick doesn’t sell back the company soon she will blackmail him with this information to get it back.
Taylor arrives to inform Stephanie that Nick will sell back the Forrester soon but he’s not ready to now. Stephanie is too impatient to wait and decides to confront Nick.
She goes to Nick’s house and presents him with a sales contract for him to sign but he refuses. Stephanie informs him that he’s made a big mistake.
Jackie is angry with Taylor for opening Nick’s old wounds. She is afraid that now Nick won’t be able to see her in the same way again.

Stephanie visits Jackie at the office and tells her to make sure Nick sells back the company to the Forresters.
Nick throws her out. Jackie thinks this may mean that Nick has forgiven her, but he assures her he is still angry.
Taylor and Ridge are discussing Eric’s depression when Stephanie arrives home angry. Privately, she tells Taylor that she’s planning on using the information she got out of Nick’s therapy sessions against Jackie.
Taylor desperately tries to convince Stephanie to keep Jackie’s past life as a prostitute a secret.
Taylor goes to Forrester Creations to try and get Nick to forgive Jackie and sell back the company before Stephanie can reveal her past.
Meanwhile, Stephanie decides to expose Jackie without putting Taylor at risk by calling up her old flame Captain Jerry Kramer (he was one of her clients) and convincing him to come to Nick and Jackie’s first fashion show.

As they prepare for the fashion show, Jackie again begs Nick to forgive her.
George from the Marone Board tells Nick that the board members remain skeptical and their confidence in him rides on the success of this fashion show.
Taylor goes to Nick’s office to tell him that he needs to forgive his mother in order to be truly happy again. With Taylor’s help, Nick realizes that he will always love Jackie and forgives her, but he makes her promise she will never speak of the men she slept with in Seattle again.
Jerry Kramer arrives and Stephanie tells him she invited him over for a surprise reunion with one of his closest friends, Jackie Payne.
Jerry remembers Jackie and although he knows that given their past relationship this reunion might not be a good idea, he agrees and then leaves.
Thorne enters and is shocked to hear Stephanie and Ridge talking about Jackie’s history as a prostitute. Thorne is worried that revealing this information Taylor learned in Nick’s therapy sessions will ruin her career.
Stephanie thinks that getting the company back and making Eric happy is the most important thing, Thorne agrees.

Jackie is nervous about the fashion show and Nick reassures her by telling her that the past has been forgiven and their future is represented in their new company.
Nick is proud of the new fashion line and congratulates his staff on a job well done.
Stephanie and Ridge prepare to reveal Jerry Kramer to Jackie.
Ridge thinks their plan will anger Eric and Taylor but Stephanie convinces him it is worth it.
Jerry arrives and Stephanie and has him wait in a Forrester office connected to the showroom. The fashion show begins.
Thorne goes backstage with Stephanie and knocks Clarke out so he won’t be able to stop their plan.
Nick takes the stage to thank his mother and the crowd for coming.
Later, Donna emerges on the runway escorted by Jerry Kramer. Jackie is horrified and Nick jumps on the stage and grabs him in anger.
Stephanie announces to the crowd that Jerry was Jackie’s pimp and that she is a whore.
Pandemonium erupts.
