Doctor Who who returns for a new season of extraordinary encounters. This time round he has a new companion: medical student Martha Jones played by Freema Agyeman.
As happened with Rose, the moment he walks into Martha's life he changes it forever. Together they find themselves facing amazing worlds and faces - both old and new - as they battle to fight for good.
In Elizabethan London, they meet William Shakespeare at the Globe Theatre where witch-like creatures are plotting to create a Carrionite empire on Earth. In the year Five Billion and Fifty-Three, mankind and catkind are caught in a terrible trap, while back in present day London 76-year-old Professor Lazarus recaptures his youth with consequences that threaten Martha’s entire family.
Martha and the Doctor’s journey also brings them face to face with the ruthless Judoon, a vicious plasmavore and the Doctor’s sworn enemies, the Daleks, who have been hiding in1930s New York with a terrifying plan for humanity.

From the pen of Doctor Who creator Russell T Davies, Torchwood follows the adventures of a team of investigators that uses alien technology to solve crime - some terrestrial, some not.
Separate from the government, outside the police, beyond the United Nations: Torchwood sets its own rules. Led by the enigmatic Captain Jack Harkness, the Torchwood team delves into the unknown and frequently uncovers the impossible.
Alongside the charismatic Captain Jack is Gwen. Initially an outsider, her first meeting with the team sparks a burning curiosity to get to the truth, throwing her into an unfamiliar but exciting world. Clear and instinctive, she understands people and is, at times, the group’s conscience. Her biigest challenge is to completely separate herself from her normal life?
The rest of the team is made up of: medic Owen Harper, who's young and hedonistic but brilliant; reserved Toshiko Sato, who specialises in computers, surveillance and all things technical; the super-intelligent and intense Suzie Costello, who has devoted her life to the strange alien artefacts under her control; and Ianto Jones, who is far more important than his receptionist’s role suggests.
From an underground base built on a rift in time and space, the team responds to any alien threat - a meterorite crash landing, sightings of extra-terrestrial technology, an unusual autopsy report, the spread of a deadly alien virus.

A dramedy that follows a gang of teenagers from Bristol, charting their daily battles with relationships, religion, drugs, eating disorders and the many other issues that face teenagers in modern society.
The leader of the pack is Tony, a charming and handsome teen with an arrogant belief in his own superiority. Closest to Tony are his best friend Sid and girlfriend Michelle. Sid has a major crush on Michelle, but will his love for her remain unrequited? And will he even still want it should it come his way?
Making up the rest of the group are Chris - a hedonist in every sense of the word; Jal , Michelle’s talented and affluent best friend; Cassie, an anorexic with a deep affection for Sid; and Effy, Tony’s tearaway younger sister.
Finally, there’s the close but turbulent friendship of gay Maxxie and his best friend Anwar, who tries to balance the excesses of teenage life with his Muslim faith.
