Monday 3 August 2009 Episode 151Lebo has selected one dancer from the college to perform in her show - Charmaine.
Stephanie invites both Dawn and David to the Hedda performance. At first, neither can make it, but then both pitch up and it's a disaster in the making.
Katlego has decided to face her secret. But then all of a sudden it seems the entire college knows about her past. How?
Tuesday 4 August 2009 Episode 152Dawn causes a scene at the end of the show. She forbids Stephanie from seeing her father, threatening David that she will tell their daughter the truth if he ever comes close to her again.
Katlego's long lost daughter, Melissa, finally arrives in South Africa. Lebo agrees to do Tendai's gig, plus an interview for the pirate radio station.
Wednesday 5 August 2009 Episode 153Katlego gets to know her daughter Melissa better. She confides in Shandu she would love to be Melissa's mother again. Stephanie is devastated by the events at the play.
Nomonde and Charmaine argue, and Ashley gets dragged in. Ipeleng tells Irene off for letting the cat out of the bag about Melissa.
Ashley tells Leigh he is not going to act in the play. Lebo guests on the pirate station as Katlego and Melissa walk in during transmission.
Thursday 6 August 2009 Episode 154Although Katlego is furious about the pirate station, Lebo and Melissa succeed in convincing her to go easy on the kids. Shawn, Tendai, and Nomonde are grateful to hear she won't be telling Ipeleng.
Ash tells Vusi he's dropped out of 'The Seagull' and asks for a second chance. Lebo performs.
Friday 7 August 2009 Episode 155A tarty photo of Charmaine appears in the morning paper that everyone oggles. Ipeleng is furious with Ashley after discovering from his agent that he's left the stage production in the lurch.
People's poets, Jethro & the Khoi Connection, perform at the college. Stephanie finds out her father seduced her cousin, Moira, when she was 14-years-old.
Monday 10 August 2009 Episode 156Everyone learns Ashley has withdrawn from the play, but no one knows exactly why he's throwing away his shot at the big time. Vusi also kills any hope Ashley still has of them getting back together.
Nomonde is thrilled to be the production manager/designer of the dance piece. The IFF love Shawn's movie and decide to enter it into a film festival in Bonn. Stephanie confronts her father.
Tuesday 11 August 2009 Episode 157Stephanie, trying to deal with the child molestation accusation made by her mother against her father, is not eating and collapses. The relationship between Tendai and Teboz threatens to become physically explosive.
Shandu is at loggerheads with Nomonde over her costume designs. Lebo's gig is tiring Charmaine out. Ashley is still depressed about his break-up with Vusi. Tendai decides to organise a jumble sale for funds.
Wednesday 12 August 2009 Episode 158David has major confrontations with Shawn and Dawn. With Stephanie in hospital, the Hedda production is facing a major crisis what with a performance scheduled tonight in Guguletu. Charmaine is called in as a replacement. She struggles at rehearsals and Ashley tries to help.
Thursday 13 August 2009 Episode 159Nomonde is angry when she discovers Charmaine didn't put up the flyers for the jumble sale. Things come to a head when Boyzi and the other street kids go on strike. Stephanie wants the truth from her parents. The commune has a party and Leigh arrives.
Friday 14 August 2009 Episode 160Shawn's determination to attend the film festival in Germany knows no bounds. Teboz has successfully returned Boyzi and the rest of the kids to the task of the dance. Ashley thinks he is love with Leigh.
Stephanie is having a lot of nightmares. Tendai gets the new gear so Hype radio will be resurrected. Vusi sees Ashley and Leigh together for the first time. His heart bleeds.
Monday 17 August 2009 Episode 161Katlego and Shawn perform the piece of music they have created for Teboz. Ashley suggests to Leigh that they move in together, but she has news to tell him.
Stephanie, who has returned home, does not want Shawn to go to Bonn. Charmaine's dance rehearsals are suffering, because she's so exhausted from acting in the play.
Tuesday 18 August 2009 Episode 162Irene has spent another night at the commune without telling her mother. Tendai and Irene get into a fight. Ashley is still devastated by the news that Leigh is going to London.
Charmaine plays the part of Hedda well. Shawn tells Ipeleng he will not be going to the film festival any more. Stephanie returns to college. Dawn storms out of the family therapy session.
Wednesday 19 August 2009 Episode 163There is much excitement, anticipation, and nerves before opening night of the dance performances. Both Shandu and Teboz are edgy and unpredictable in their own ways.
Tendai is trying desperately to get the radio station to air tonight. Ashley drowns his sorrows in alcohol. The street kids are a huge hit.
Thursday 20 August 2009 Episode 164Shandu's dance production is running smoothly, until Ashley locks himself and Vusi in the change room. Tendai decides to broadcast solo on Hype Radio. Charmaine is extremely nervous about her appearance.
Katlego is still upset with Teboz for dropping the music she and Shawn composed, although they play their song at the after party.
Friday 21 August 2009 Episode 165Shandu is so disgusted by Ashley's unprofessional behaviour he wants him expelled, and failing that, not be allowed to return in the new year. Vusi wants nothing more to do with him.
Tendai apologises to Irene. Teboz gets Boyzi and his friends some new clothes and a framed photograph that appeared in the newspaper. The stalker caller is back to haunt Nomonde.
Monday 24 August 2009 Episode 166Dawn's version of David's perversions turns her ex-husband cold. It seems the only person Stephanie can trust is Shawn. At Vusi's insistence, Ipeleng agrees to give Ashley one more chance.
Shandu questions Teboz as to where he got the money for the street kids' clothes. Thule Malgas wants to audition four kids for his show. The stalker calls Nomonde. He knows her real name.
Tuesday 25 August 2009 Episode 167Ashley decides that if Leigh doesn't return his call, he's going to spend Christmas with his family. If she calls, he's willing to forgo his folks just to see her off. Nomonde's trip is cancelled.
Ipeleng believes Teboz is a real success story. Stephanie has another nightmare, but this time, she wakes up remembering the truth.
Wednesday 26 August 2009 Episode 168Stephanie confronts David and then vanishes. Nomonde buys a new phone to be rid of the mystery caller. Ipeleng and Katlego walk in on Vusi and Irene listening to Hype radio. The mystery caller threatens Tendai. The day of the auditions has arrived and Irene tells Shawn to follow his heart.
Thursday 27 August 2009 Episode 169Nomonde makes a plan to get the stalker out of her life - but he has her new phone number. Teboz is becoming more and more of a slave driver, as he instructs the other students on Thule's dance moves. Stephanie pays Jacques a final visit. Katlego warns Irene about Hype. Charmaine and Nomonde scheme to get Shawn & Stephanie together.
Friday 28 August 2009 Episode 170Katlego moves in with Ipeleng. The girls burn the romantic dinner, specially cooked on Stephanie's behalf, whilst Tendai goes on the hunt for Shawn, who is celebrating the bronze award he received for his movie. The evening ends with a passionate kiss.
Monday 31 August 2009 Episode 171It's Christmas Day, and while mother and daughter exchange gifts, Dawn learns about last night's kiss between Stephanie and Shawn. Shandu arrives at Ipeleng's home with bubbly and after a boozy festive lunch, she and Katlego fall asleep in the lounge.
Nomonde struggles to keep the commune Christmas dinner on track, but manages in the end, thanks to Irene. Everyone is having a great time, including Boyzi, until a mysterious package arrives for Nomonde. Charmaine and Teboz are chosen for Thule's piece.
