Hell hath no fury like Somizi rumoured to be dating an Idol contestant. The sharp-tongued entertainer takes to Instagram to read y’all the riot act.

It all started as a Twitter rumour until Somizi got fed up and unleashed a scornful mouthful; Somizi helped the contestants with a showstopper theme and when he took to stage to assist Sonke in dancing to Mafikizolo’s Khona, the two delivered magic on stage.

This weekend rumours spread like wildfire that Somizi and Sonke are now an item, much to Somizi’s dismay.

I've got to agree, the two of them really make a great couple. One can only hope they are indeed dating. Such a cute picture

During the heydays tsa Coca Cola Pop Stars they accused one of the guys from ghetto lingo to be dating Somizi, can't remember his name, the one who used to sing like Mandoza, I understand Somizi's madness, this is not the first time

Somizi o touchy touchy with most guys, he threw himself like a child on top of Glen Lewis during the Metros

To me yena le Sonke don't look like a cute couple to me, Sonke has a bit of Somizi in him, the look more like sisters/brothers

I don't know whether Sonke is gay or not. I don't care. Whatever his sexuality; he would be awesome the same way, he reminds me of BB's Bassey. I'm not even curious, if he turns out to be gay, it won't shock me just as it won't shock me if Robert Marawa turns out to be gay. What never ceases to shock me, is how people are so CURIOUS about others' sexuality...it shocks me stru. Whenever people ask "is so and so gay?, or declare so and so is gay" when that person never 'came out'....I'm always taken aback. I will believe a person when they say I'm dating her or him or them (being ambiguous)...and ill leave it at that, my mind never wanders...arg anyway. Somizi was right to pop off at them. I question the wisdom of people who ask such questions or make such judgments true or not, In 2013!?. If a person wants to be open about their sexuality they will be. If they want to be ambiguous they do so on purpose, let them, respect that... there is NOTHING wrong with it. Those who deceive via sexuality (eg after nines) are no different from those who cheat in heterosexual relationships, so there simply is never a good reason to 'drag anyone out of the closet' as they say, "that is utter rubbish" *Simon Cowel voice*.

Haai haai @Taz...how is dating Somizi scandalous? Somizi has a respectable resume in the industry. What about him is so scandalous (even remotely) that Sonke would be unwise to date him? Because tabloids will sensetionalise damaging lies/half-truths about some people, they must be treated like they have leprosy? And let's be fair, I haven't seen much tabloid reporting on Somizi, when they went hard on him looking sick last year, he handled it with grace and they never got a response from him...and here he is, getting gigs and doing very well after that. I'd respect Sonke if he hung arround Somizi inspite of the negative remarks, hang out with him and learn from him because he has a wealth knowledge about the industry. And even if Somizi had wayward habbits, I'd respect Sonke loads if learned from his best sides and steered clear off of the negative influences. That's how we all do life anyhow.

Was the pic taken during of after idols showstopper theme was long over?

They are both from Soweto, they can both dance, the probably have a lot more in common and clicked during the show...nothing wrong there!

Should it happen that the rumours are true...still nothing wrong there. Personally i forbid simply due to my religious beliefs but never judges anyone as I dont expect the world to share my beliefs period!

I didn't even know this rumour existed because I thought Somizi had a partner, the one he's always cooking for. I know they say "age ain't nothing but a number" but Somgaga is too old for Sonke I hope he's just mentoring his as an older brother.
