This week 3rd Degree tells the harrowing story of the desperate steps one woman takes to steal a baby. Distraught over the loss of her child, and unable to tell her boyfriend, Michelle befriends an unsuspecting new mother at Coronationville Hospital.
She gains the trust of the mother and visits her and her baby every day in hospital for a month. When it’s time to be discharged, she offers to take the pair home.
They never make it. Weeks later, the mother’s body is found and the baby is missing. We ask, what drove a troubled woman to commit this horrific crime?
