The fourth episode of gossip show
The Real Goboza on SABC1 has been postponed for a week to allow the channel to broadcast the FIFA-endorsed soccer match in honour of Madiba's 89th birthday on Wednesday (18 July).
The soccer match - entitled "90 Minutes For Mandela" - is an invitation friendly being contested by an African XI and a Rest of the World XI. Numerous legends of the game will be taking part including Pele, Samuel Eto'o, George Weah, Doctor Khumalo and Lucas Radebe.
The game takes place on Wednesday evening at Newlands stadium in Cape Town.
The match is being staged not only to celebrate Mandela's birthday, but also to celebrate his life and his constant fight against racism.
SABC1 will begin broadcasting a build-up to the game at 19h30, with kick-off scheduled for 20h00.
Episode 4 of RGB will air next week in its usual timeslot of 21h00.
