The new multi-million buck reality competition The Model Millions premieres on SABC3 on Wednesday 1 October 2008 at 20h30 and the show's searching for gorge contestants.
As the name suggests, the show's a search for the next big modelling sensation who'll win R1 million.
Hosted by schmodel-sisters Kerry and Tracy McGregor, the show's looking for 15 finalists who'll battle it out in true model style, working on real advertising campaigns and shoots for various South African companies each episode .
The search comes with an added interactive twist for viewers : a chance to win 1 Million US dollars through an interactive SMS and online competition.
Each week viewers will be challenged to predict which of the 15 models will be eliminated at the end of the episode. Those who are correct in the majority of their predictions throughout the series, will be in the running to win $1 million in cash on New Year’s Eve 2008.
Vewers will also be able to submit their own content to the show, in the form of pictures or videos that could make it onto the contestants’ cell-phones in specific episodes. The content with the most votes will win a lucrative weekly prize including an all expenses paid trip on location with the cast and crew.
The show will end in a Grand Finale to held in Cape Town on 31 December 2008.
