So! ... as soon as Big Brother South Africa ends, things swing into action for Big Brother Angola.

It's the reason Big Brother South Africa only runs for two months instead of the usual three.

Auditions for the season are underway as we speak. They started this past Saturday (22 March) and end tomorrow, Friday (27th).

The season starts in May and will run for two months too - just the purrfect timing for Big Brother Africa to arrive in August.

That's all the good news. The bad news for those us who speak South African is that the entire series is going to be in Portuguese. The housemates will all speak it and so will everyone else, the presenters etc.

It'll be airing in South Africa, also on channels 197 and 198, but only for subscribers who have the Portuguese bouquet. At first I was iffy about it because I really want to see what it's like but then, after thinking about it, I suppose it's pointless because it won't be possible to follow it properly.

Still, even though it's happening in a Tower of Babel, it'll be good to know that it's happening and that another pack of housemates are suffering for their million.

It premieres on Sunday, 25 May.

Hey Mrs Chix ... everyone's been very hush hush about it but it's definitely gonna be happening. I'm keeping my nose to the ground for any sniff of news.

true taylor  - they're shooting at the same place BB Mzansi's being filmed, at Sasani Studios. The house will be re-designed etc. for the season.

True Taylor or whatever your nickname is, Angolans care about Angola, I'm sure you don't have space for Angolan. Leave their show to go on, it's for Angolan, they did not invite you, or anyone else.

True Taylor, if you are from South Africa then you should know and give thanks to  Angola who did all the best to libarate you from the Apartheid System. Peter Botha, Pik Botha and Magnuns Malan all those boers from Apartheid were bombing south of Angola killing Angolans because Angola was supporting ANC, SWAPO and ZANU-PF to libarate all this 3 countries. the Last battle of Kuito Kuanavale in South of Angola, Apartheid Army was defeated by Angolan Army therefore Apartheid has no more choice, that obliged them to sign a UN resolution which they decalred to Free Nelson Mandela, Independence of Namibia, that's why the first visit of Nelson Mandela after being released in prison went to Angola to appreciate for all what Angolan has done to end the Aprtheid regime. Jacob Zuma, Tambo Mbeki, Sam Nujoma and many more were hosted in Angola.
you are breathing air of freedom in your South Africa should give thanks to ANgola.
Angola do not Care about BBAfrica because Angolan has nothing to win with that, their celebrate make money in Angola do not need to go around African countries for that.
Angolan do not watch BBAfrica because they only speak Portuguese that is the reason do not understand English so they Watch BBBrazil and BBPortugal.

Hang up yourself and leave Angolan to be.
