Hang onto your gasps ... Bold and the Beautiful's going Fifty Shades of Grey on us.
The soapie's releasing a series of eight novels this year featuring romance stories between couples from the show. The stories are new
sexploits between them - as "new" as they can be considering how many times the show's couples have already gotten together and split, gotten together and split etc.
They're being released in paperback in Australia and as ebooks across the rest of the world so you'll be able to find them at ebook stores e.g. Amazon.
Of course, they'll be much calmer and less orgasmic than Fifty Shades of Grey but the instant I heard about them I thought of Fifty Shades because of how the phenomenon was sparked by fan fiction.
As you probably know, the Fifty Shades
trilogy of novels are written by a fan of the Twilight movies who got so carried away she's ended up earning billions.
The Bold books aren't written by fans but they suggest a similar fanfic feel. Their content will obviously be much more Mills & Boon than Fifty Shades but still, it's a fun idea I thought.
The first two are being released on Tuesday (28 January 2014) and centre round Steffy and Taylor and Bill.
