Generations Retro Specials Large
More moments from Generations' very first episode.

As we recently reported, Generations will be celebrating the soapie's 20th anniversary in September with two marathon events: the return of 20 former Generations stars and the broadcast of 20 episodes from across the series since it's start.

When we first spilt the news, the times for the retro episodes hadn't been confirmed yet but now they are. The episodes will be airing from Monday, 2 September at 18h30 - the same day that former stars start making their appearances.

The stars start reappearing during the regular daily episodes which stay at their usual time of 20h00.

The injection of the retro episodes at 18h30 means that the early evening schedule will be shuffled, most notably: The Bold and the Beautiful - which currently occupies the 18h00 slot - will be moving to SABC3. Permanently.

All SABC1 shows in the current 18h30 time slot will move into Bold and the Beautiful's time slot at 18h00 for the duration of the Generations specials, until the end of September.

Cannot wait for this one.But when it comes to anniversaries, this is supposed to be Generations' 19th year...or it is just early celebrations of 20th year next year. I wonder if Pamela Nomvete aka Ntsiki will make it to come back, what about those who were killed in the show. But I doubt they were in the killing mood at the beginning of the show

I am feeling 10 years younger already. Phela Generations was rocking in those years. I cannot wait to see Carol Bouwer and that actor who played Glen Majosi. Ditlo boya... Rhythym City, don't worry 3so, we will catch the omnibus on Saturdays, is okay
