On Tuesday, 9 April DStv and M-Net will be launching a second spin-off to kykNET called kykNET & kie. The new channel launches in a double debut with FOX - which
launches on channel 125 on the same day.
kykNET & kie will be available on the DStv Premium, Compact and new
Family bouquet, on channel 145.
It's a general entertainment channel that's going to feature a combo of new programming, blast-to-the-past series and children's shows in blocks of Koowee.
The line-up includes a new magazine show titled Kollig and a variety of "series-nostalgia" including Agter Elke Man, Song Vir Katryn and the comedy Alie Barber.
Children's programming will air each morning in Koowee blocks between 07h30 and 09h30 with another block in the evening between 17h00 and 18h00.
The channel will also include various current kykNET properties which will be particularly relevant to Compact and Family subscribers who don't receive kykNET.
Shows that will air on both channels include the breakfast show Dagbreek, the Afrikaans news on eNuus and soapies Villa Rosa and Binneland.
