kykNET will be adding a new breakfast show to the early morning menu soon.
On Monday, 5 November the channel will be debuting Dagbreek (Daybreak), a two-hour breakfast show that will air on weekdays from 06h00 to 08h00.
Word from the channel is that the show will feature a mix of news, actuality and lifestyle content and will include the morning's breaking news, weather reports and studio interviews with guests.
Six presenters will be headlining as the "Dagbreekers" (Daybreakers). The line-up consists of:
Elma Smit (winner of Lady Rugga, 5FM DJ and MK presenter),
Dalen Lance (host of Step Up or Step Out and High School Musical),
Harald Richter (Villa Rosa, 7de Laan, Generations, Egoli), Rozanne McKenzie (Kwêla field presenter), Pierre Breytenbach (Proesstraat, field presenter for 50/50) and Bettie Kemp (Villa Rosa, Binneland).
Of course it's all fun, games and glamour for them now, before the series starts, but once it does they'll never be able to go to bed later than 21h00 (the latest!) and they'll be exhausted by 17h00.
