A headsup that SuperSport's special Olympic channel SuperSport Gold can be accessed on SuperSport 4 on Channel 204. It's available on the DStv Premium and Compact bouquets and the Mobile platforms including the Walka, Drifta and iDrifta.
DStv has renamed SuperSport 4 to "Gold" for the duration of the Olympics to emphasize the fact that it features highlight events. As you'll see when you tune in, the name's changed in the picture but not on the PVR info strip yet.
Word from a SuperSport insider is that the channel will be airing the "sexy" events of the Games including athletics and soccer. Friday night's opening ceremony will also be aired on it. The live broadcast starts at 21h45.
The channel's also available in HD on SuperSport HD2, Channel 174.
