Popstars Auditions: First Pics In, From Durbs

Fast fact for dealing with que-jumpers generally: if it happens to you say something like, "Um, excuse me, you obviously didn't see me in front of you," then push in front of them. It works bigtime.

Auditions for e.tv's new Popstars started in Durbs last weekend, on Saturday, 21 August and the first pics from what went down are in.

Did you know that Durbs has a Miss Durban? I had no clue. This is her: Lwandle Ngwenya.

If you've watched Idols you may recognise this auditionee - it's the guy who wrote and sang the song Condomize. The judges verdict: a good concept but BAD execution.
Horror thought just thunk: one more appearance on a reality show and he could be the next Bieber.

Dunyiswa, Gareth and Reagan: a crowd who should be rehearsing before auditioning who got clingy under a blanket instead.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S ... Leigh, Jaco, Mandy and Chantel.
I don't know what the judges verdict on them was but my prediction: two made it to the next round and two didn't just to freak them.

A bad Michael Jackson impersonator.

I know what you're gonna say: "Hey, he looks like he could be quite good, 'spesh that big toe thing." BUT think about it ... have you ever seen a good MJ impersonator? No.
If he turns out to be good when we see him on TV I'll do the moon walk, on YouTube, in the nude. (Maybe)

Oh my my my the condomize song maker does not give up easily.I saw him on Idols and he was given thumbs down even though the judges liked his message.
Is it necessary for auditionees to show their dancing skills? Or the bottom line is to showcase one's vocal talent.I mean really people are busy doing moon walk and other stuff.
Hopefully Miss Durbs can hit that high note because popstars is not about strutting what your Mama gave you.

From now on Im gonna use "excuse me,you obviously did not see me in front of you."I believe it will do wonders.

I have one problem with all these reality TV shows' auditions.Apparently it seems as if Limpopo,Mpumalanga and Nothern Cape do not have talent at all according to the organisers of these shows.Auditions are only held in thee cities and souls from other provinces have to travel miles to audition.

Miss Dubarn's name is Lwandle Ngwenya. Please can you correct the name Tashi. It quite offensive if someone spells your name wrong.
