THE designs werent that impressive except for the very few. I loved the RJKay designs and the theme used by Ole Modimo was fantastic. Barring in mind bloggers it wasnt for the mere fact that I am Zulu but because everyone kept on clapping. It might have been the six packs I dont know....

A couple of celebrities were there, of course, for the Uyanda Mbuli's Collection. Yes, I was amongst those who wanted to see what she would be showcasing since the Gert Coetzee saga. Here is what she showcased than judge for urself if whether any celeb will rock up at the SAMA'S wearing any of these. She designed them herself (so she says):

Celeb attendies that i notices at Uyanda's show were Nonhle Thema, Zizo Beda, Matapa Maila, Katlego Danke, Kgomotso Christopher (4 play) with her yummy hubby Calvin, Gugu Zuma....etc

I DONT KNOW WHETHER ITS THE SIX PACK OR SOMETHING ELSE THAT MADE ME JUST STARE AT THIS DUDE...LOL!

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL 3 SUM TO JUST GO STRAIGHT OR ELSE DISSAPEAR FROM THE LIMELIGHT COZ REALLY NOW, THIS PICTURE JUST SHOWS UKUTHI THEY ARE SO HAS BEEN'S. SITTING ON THE FLOOR WHILE WATCHING A FASHION SHOW.....DAMN! DAT IS EMBARRASSING.

Im inlove with the Sylvester Falata dress Lira is wearing and as for the Uyanda dresses, i doubt if any celeb will want to wear that at the SAMA's

@BA- Well BA I couldnt resist Nonhle. It was the first time we met face to face. We have been speaking for so long on the phone (business related) me knowing her face and her not knowing what I look like. She's so sweet bathong>>>>>>

The packs are very distracting, I can't even bring myself to tear my eyes away to look at anything else. Don't like the short pants, so men still wear those?

@BA- Get you gal but ke just for everyone's info as much as I dont consider myself a groupie, I do have my favourate celebs and I will take pics with them not because they are celebs but because I have dealings with them in one way or the other. For the record I wouldnt like to think I made anyone feel small. Ama-background ethu awafani (quoting a friend of mine Hlobi Nxele).

Can we please go back to the article. Comment about it, I know my picture with Nonhle is also there but its the only one I could use to show you guys how she looked like.

Eish I also want to say something BA but I'm not one to say mean things so I will let it go. All I will say for now is that we would have more interesting articles if all the journalist who are here on TVSA would write articles every time they attend an event or even if its once in a while when they attend an event. I personally know there are many journos here who go to all these interesting events so maybe its about time they do us that favour seeing as it's dry nyhani these days. Nice article Msoe.

Aowa..m..m .tjo! uyanda designs remind me those days when you do laundry you go to your gogo closet to find something to wear,Just to do laundry.

no creativity on Uyanda's designs, what happened to real talented designers, they must be offended by the Uyanda's making a mockery of their field they respect and treasure so much, where is Marian Fassler, Stone Cherries,gavin rajah, gert,and other talented black designers that couple vanya and mangaliso...ok, lemme ask,do designers get invited to showcase or they send their entries and get selected by a panel

@Malondie- Like I said our backgrounds could never be the same. So let me leave it at that. If you want to play detective what what go ahead and do so. I dont really care. The fact remains, I am not a groupie, could never be one and I do not pretend that I hate celebrities. I have never said I hate them, I work with these people and some of them are nice once you know the person for who they are not the front they put up for you people to see. Case closed please.
