Alexander Gould is an American actor best known for his role as Shane Botwin in the television dramedy Weeds, from 2005-2012.
He is also known as the voice of the title character in the 2003 animated feature film Finding Nemo.
Gould has made guest appearances on the television shows Freaks And Geeks, Malcolm In The Middle, The Geena Davis Show, Ally McBeal, 7th Heaven, Family Law, Even Stevens, Boomtown, American Dreams, and Oliver Beene.
He has acted in the made-for-TV movies The Day the World Ended (2001) and Dark Shadows (2004). Aside from his leading voice role in Finding Nemo, Gould has also voiced roles in the animated films Diary of a Worm (2005), Bambi II (2006), Curious George (2006) and The Librarian from the Black Lagoon (2007).
He has had acting roles in the films City of Angels (his screen debut in 1998), Mexico City (2000), Wheelmen (2002), They (2002) and How to Eat Fried Worms (2006).
