Bio
Palesa Masiteng is 23 years old and hails from the province of Gauteng. She is currently studying marketing, has a boyfriend and lives in a townhouse.
She is multilingual, speaking seven languages: seSotho, Zulu, Tswana, Xhosa, Pedi, English and Afrikaans.
She enjoys fashion, going out with friends, watching TV, reading and also models part time. She hates people who are prejudiced and says that she entered Fear Factor because she was bored and had nothing else to do.
In preparation for the show Palesa says that she has been working hard to get her fitness levels up as well as preparing herself mentally by sitting down and trying to find out what fear means to her and how she can overcome that fear.
Her worst fear, she says, is drowning - along with being emotionally vulnerable.
She handles stress by withdrawing into herself and analysing the situation and the best way to overcome it.
Her most embarrassing experience is when she choked on red wine while on her first date with her boyfriend. Her greatest achievement in life is her independence, being able to look after herself for three years, that and being crowned Ms. City Press 2004.
Her philosophy is the sky's the limit, her favourite movie is Gone in 60 seconds and her favourite celebrity is Robert De Niro.
She says that the local Fear Factor looks like the real deal.
