Odysseus grew up in Nkowa-nkowa, Tzaneen in the Limpopo province and moved to Durban after matriculating to study fashion design at Linea Academy.
He has taken part in various fashion showcases both locally and in neighbouring countries including the Durban Designer Showcase (DDC 24) and Cape Town Fashion Week.
Odysseus describes himself as a fun loving person, very outgoing and outspoken at times. He is very passionate about what he does and is always looking to learn and grow.
He relaxes by spending time with his friends over dinner and has a soft spot for good music and also enjoys dancing.
He reads a lot to stay informed, and interacts with people he finds interesting. Odysseus is currently selling his collection privately to a growing clientele.
He says that his decision to audition for The Cut was a spontaneous one. What is his expectation? “I’m taking this as a step forward in my career, an opportunity to market myself and display my abilities to anyone who may be interested.
"It would be nice to make the finals and win as this would boost my career. I think that it’s also a great opportunity to explore Jozi and to meet other people and expand my circle. Hopefully it will be fun.”
