Tommy Hinkley is an American actor who is possibly best known for his role as Jay Selby in the television sitcom Mad About You, from 1992-1993.
The vast majority of his career has been spent making guest appearances in television series.
These include Empty Nest, Who's The Boss?, The Golden Girls, Night Court, Jake And The Fatman, MacGyver, Ellen, ER, Judging Amy, Angel, That '70s Show, The Division, Without A Trace, NCIS, Cold Case and The Shield.
Hinkley has also acted in a number of movies, including Lethal Weapon 2 (1989); L.A. Story (1991); I Killed My Lesbian Wife, Hung Her on a Meat Hook, and Now I Have a Three-Picture Deal at Disney (1993); Star Trek: Generations (1994); The Cable Guy (1996); The Little Vampire (2000); Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002); Valentine Man (2004) and Ocean's Thirteen (2007).
He has been married to actress Tracey Needham since 1 January 1995. The couple have a daughter, Katie, born in 1998.
