Bio
Michelle was raised in Elsiesrivier, Cape Town where she modeled and worked as a PA before she won the Egoli Star Competition in 2001 to join the cast of her favourite soap.
Her passion for acting started at an early age: while at Primary school she would play actress to the delight of her classmates but when she attended Zonnebloem Nest High it became more serious.
Her Drama teacher spotted her talent early on and encouraged her to explore her knack for the performing arts. At college though, Michelle went in the opposite direction and studied Travel and Tourism, but fate steered her back to her passion.
She is a keen supporter of V8 Racing, enjoys shopping, dancing, listening to music and playing baseball.
She currently plays the role of Yvette Stuurman in the M-Net soapie Binneland (formerly known as Binnelanders and Binneland Sub Judice), since 2010.
