Dave Franco is an American actor best known for his starring role as Cole Aaronson in the final season of the television dramedy series Scrubs, from 2009-2010.
He is often recognised for his role in the Funny or Die web series, acting with James Franco. The first instalment in the series, Sense Memory, is one of the most viewed videos on funnyordie.com, attracting over 120,000 views in its first month.
Dave is an avid writer, something he did well before he became involved in acting.
Past TV credits include FOX's Do Not Disturb, the hit ABC Family series Greek and Privileged on the CW.
Film projects for Dave include the Noah Baumbach film Greenberg, which stars Ben Stiller, and a role opposite Zac Efron in The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. Other films Franco has appeared in include Superbad, Gus Van Sant's Milk and The Shortcut.
In addition to acting, Dave continues to pursue writing and has completed a number of scripts. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
He is the younger brother of actor James Franco.
