Bio
Loryn Higginson is a South African model and television presenter best known as the co-host (with Lutho Somdyala) of the e.tv style magazine show The Style Report, since April 2009.
She has worked as a professional model since 1996. Her career has taken her from her humble beginnings in Port Elizabeth to Paris, London and some of the world’s most exotic island locations.
She has appeared on the covers of countless international and South African magazines and has featured in more than a dozen international campaigns.
Higginson began hosting The Style Report in April 2009, which marked her television debut. According to show producer Nicky Greenwall, Loryn's "extensive knowledge of the industry in which she works, coupled with her down-to-earth nature, make her the perfect choice to host a show about the business of style."
She played a minor role in the 2005 feature film Lord of War, her only acting credit to date.
Loryn was born in Port Elizabeth and attended Summerwood Primary before moving to Pretoria, where she was the Head Girl at Willowridge High School.
She returned to Port Elizabeth to do a BA degree in psychology and sociology at the former University of Port Elizabeth.
She currently lives in Cape Town.
