Samara Weaving is an Australian actress best known for her role as Kirsten Mulroney in the BBC's Australian soap opera Out of the Blue, since 2008.

Weaving was born in Adelaide but grew up in Fiji, Singapore and Indonesia, travelling extensively as a child. She returned to Sydney in 2004 and then moved to Canberra in 2005 where she now lives.

Sam has always had a passionate interest in acting and dance and has appeared in a number of short films, dance and stage productions, performing with Singapore Dance Company, Canberra Youth Theatre and in a number of school productions.

In 2007, she played the lead role in a short film The Cabbie, a finalist in the Lights, Canberra, Action short film festival.

Out of the Blue is her acting debut in a television drama series.
