Michelle Constant is a South African journalist, radio DJ, television presenter, producer, entrepreneur and actress best known for hosting radio shows on 5FM, Radio 2000, Jacaranda 94.2 and SAFM.
Michelle has voiced commercials, audio-visuals, radio and TV documentaries and a variety of TV music shows. Michelle has also presented various TV shows for both the SABC and e.tv as well as hostingg live events, including the South African Music Awards.
Although she resigned from Radio 2000 in March 2008, after two years at the station, Constant continues to have a presence on radio through the long-running BASA sponsored news feature Create, on SAFM Midday Live.
She is a columnist for numerous magazines and other publications, including GQ, Wanted and Empire magazines.
Constant has worked in the media since 1990. In 2000, she started her own production company, Foxfire Media, through which she has produced two seasons of the English radio version of the kid's television show Takalani Sesame, and a six-part radio documentary on the history of choral music in South Africa.
In 2002 Constant was appointed to the music advisory panel for the National Arts Council. She has served as a judge for the South African Music Awards for over a decade.

From May to August 2008 she is a team leader on the SABC2 religious game show Drawing the Line. Each week she leads her team in an attempt to get the audience to vote for their point of view on a wide variety of subjects dealing with morality.
Also in 2008, she makes a guest appearance in an episode of the SABC3 drama series The Lab 2, playing the role of Tsholo's Lawyer. |
