Jasmyn Asvat is a television commercial writer, producer, director and presenter best known as the host of the upcoming reality competition The Biggest Loser SA.
Born and bred in Johannesburg Asvat was educated at Parktown Convent where she specialised in Arts and English.
After school she worked as a copywriter and moved into television commercial writing, directing and producing with a special focus on advertisements for weight loss products.
Asvat produced and directed commercials for BioSlim for Glomail for 3 years and produced a Bioslim talk show with Lizz Meiring. The show followed overweight people for a day and edited video diaries of their lives.
