Bio

Moon Bloodgood is an American actress and model best known for her starring role as Dr. Anne Glass in the science fiction television series Falling Skies, from 2011-2015.

She also had starring roles in the feature films Eight Below (2006) and Pathfinder (2007), and leading television roles as Rita Shelten in Day Break (2006-2007) and as long-lost fiancée Livia in Journeyman (2007).

She played an ambitious development executive in Barry Levinson's feature-film What Just Happened? starring Robert De Niro, and a native warrior princess in the Viking fantasy film Pathfinder for director Marcus Nispel.

Bloodgood is also featured in the independent film Moonlight Serenade opposite Amy Adams, and she starred in the Disney feature Eight Below, opposite Paul Walker and Jason Biggs for director Frank Marshall.

Bloodgood was featured in People Magazine's World's Most Beautiful issue for 2006. She has also been featured in In Style, Complex, Self, Glamour and Flaunt magazines.

She started her career as a professional dancer. At a very young age, she landed a coveted spot to join the Los Angeles Laker Girls. Her love for hip-hop led to touring gigs with Prince, Brandy and the rock band Offspring.

Photographers encouraged her to expand her outlets of expression and pursue modeling. A trip to New York proved to be lucrative, where she found herself modeling for cosmetic giants Revlon, L'Oreal and Avon.

Bloodgood then returned to Los Angeles where a casting director spotted her and asked her to audition for Just Shoot Me!. Since then, she's worked on a number of television series including CSI and Monk.

She has also worked with big-time film directors in TV pilots such as James Foley for Hollywood Division, and John Stockwell for Rocky Point.

DreamWorks' Win a Date with Tad Hamilton was her feature-film debut as she played opposite Josh Duhamel of NBC's Las Vegas. She also starred with Ashton Kutcher in Disney's A Lot Like Love.
