Bio

Casey B. Dolan is a South African actress, television presenter, model, disc jockey, entrepreneur and pop singer.

She began her TV career as a continuity presenter. Thereafter followed the controversial series 37 Honey Street, in which the first-ever lesbian kiss was shown on South African TV.

Her acting debut was followed by dramas such as Kelebone and Boomspruit. She also presented for Jika Majika, Fresh, and Top Billing.

Casey also had a stint on radio when, in 2000, she did the afternoon drive show for 5fm. She was voted FHM's Sexiest Woman In South Africa the same year.

She then pursued a music career, being nominated for a SAMA award in 2001 in the category of Best Pop Single for I Need Your Sex.

Casey worked in London for a year and on her return shot two features, Sumuru in 2002, directed by Darrell Roodt, and No Man's Gold in 2003. At that time, she also became the face of Vespa SA, and presented Pro 20 cricket.

She co-hosted e.tv's magazine programme, 20something, and played dance instructor Lara Murphy on the e.tv soapie Backstage, in late 2004.

In 2010 she appeared in the feature film Lost Boys: The Thirst, directed by Dario Piana.
