Bio
Mzi Tyhokolo was a contestant on the first season of the Survivor South Africa reality series, entitled Survivor South Africa: Panama.
He was a member of the Aguila tribe and was the 9th person eliminated from the game, on Day 20. He was given a reprieve, however, on Dead Man's Island, returning to the game for the Deadman's Challenge, on Day 27.
He made it to the final four, getting eliminated on Day 29, the final day before the jury vote. In the end he was third overall.
Tyhokolo is an energy advisor for a big fuel company.
He grew up in the Free State towns of Bethulie and Welkom and now lives in Honeydew Ridge, Johannesburg.
He holds a BSc honours degree.
