Amaury Nolasco is a Puerto Rican-born American actor best known for his role as Fernando Sucre in the action drama series Prison Break, from 2005-2009.

He starred as Marco Martinez, a good intelligence guy who loves to talk - and talk, in the police procedural television series Chase, from 2010-2011.

After finishing school Nolasco went to the University of Puerto-Rico where he studied biology. He initially intended to enroll in medical school to become a doctor but his plans changed when he was approached by a director and cast in a commercial.

After several acting gigs, Nolasco moved to New York, where he trained at the American British Dramatic Arts School. Classically trained in Shakespearean drama, he focused on dialect technique, character work and stage presence.

In 1999, shortly after graduating, Nolasco made his TV debut with a guest role on the sitcom Arli$$. He also appeared as a guest star on several TV shows including CSI, ER, George Lopez and CSI: New York after graduation.

Soon after, Nolasco took on his breakout role as the series regular Fernando Sucre in Prison Break, and appeared on the big screen in his first major supporting role as Orange Julius in the film 2 Fast 2 Furious.

He went on to co-star in several more films, including Mr. 3000 opposite Bernie Mac, and Benchwarmers with Rob Schneider and David Spade.

Nolasco co-starred in Michael Bay's Transformers and David Ayer's Street Kings alongside Keanu Reeves, Forrest Whitaker and Hugh Laurie. He also appeared in Max Payne opposite Mark Wahlberg, and in Armored with Lawrence Fishburne, Matt Dillon and Jean Reno.
