Bio
Zola (also credited by his real name, Bonginkosi Dlamini) is a South African kwaito artist and actor best known to television audiences for hosting his eponymous reality show, Zola 7, from 2002-2010.
He is also known for his hard-hitting portrayal of the gangster Papa Action in the second season of the SABC1 drama series Yizo Yizo.
In 2011 he appeared in his own docu-reality series Rolling with Zola on e.tv, which documents his life and his search for six new South African musicians.
In early 2015 he had a starring role as Isaac on the Vuzu Amp original series aYeYe. In May, his character appeared in the Mzansi Magic soapie isiBaya in a series crossover story arc which also saw Thapelo Mokoena's character from aYeYe (JK) joining isiBaya at the same time.
Also in 2015, he was the host of the Mzansi Magic docu-reality series Utatakho, which is focused on resolving issues of paternity using DNA testing.
