Bio

Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth was a contestant on the first season of the reality TV show The Apprentice, who was "fired" in the ninth episode.

She is a former political appointee in the Clinton and Gore White House and worked as a political consultant in Washington, DC.

Omarosa grew up in the projects of Youngstown, Ohio and eventually graduated from Central State University.

She also earned a Master's degree from Howard University and a Ph.D, which was awarded to her in the spring of 2004.

Omarosa's hobby is pageantry and she works as an image consultant. She has successfully trained a Miss USA, Miss Taiwan and Miss Guyana.

After leaving The Apprentice, Omarosa remained in the public eye with various appearances on talk shows and reality programs. She appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and made a brief appearance on the soapie Passions.

Her celebrity has been accompanied by escalating controversy. Shortly after being fired from The Apprentice, she publicly accused fellow contestant Ereka Vetrini of directing racial slurs at her, a claim that Vetrini denied.

Her denials were firmly supported by Donald Trump, Mark Burnett, and NBC.

Eventually, Vetrini moved to put the controversy to rest by appearing on the Howard Stern show, where she passed several lie detector tests.

In 2005, Omarosa appeared on a special edition of Fear Factor. She eliminated Survivor: Amazon winner Jenna Morasca (with who she shares a birthday) in the second stunt and was herself eliminated in the third.

She also appeared in the 5th season of the VH1 reality series The Surreal Life, in which she was involved in several confrontations with co-star Janice Dickinson.

Omarosa was married to Aaron H. Stallworth from 27 May 2000 to 6 June 2005.

She appeared as a contestant on The Celebrity Apprentice in 2008.
