Giancarlo Esposito is an American actor best known for his role as Agent Mike Giardello in 22 episodes of the television crime drama Homicide: Life On The Street, from 1998-1999.
He is also known for his collaboration with film director Spike Lee, appearing in four of his movies: School Daze (1988), Do the Right Thing (1989), Mo' Better Blues (1990) and Malcolm X (1992).
Esposito has guest starred in numerous television shows, including Miami Vice, Spenser: For Hire, Bakersfield P.D., Chicago Hope, NYPD Blue, Nash Bridges, Touched By An Angel, The $treet, Strong Medicine, The Practice, Third Watch, The Division, Half & Half, Soul Food, Law & Order, Law & Order: Trial by Jury, South Beach, Ghost Whisperer, Bones, CSI: Miami and Las Vegas.
