Emily Bett Rickards is a Canadian actress best known for her recurring role as Felicity Smoak in the superhero action series Arrow, in 2012.
Rickards was born and raised on the west coast of Canada. Since a little girl, she has been an avid people watcher and dress-up fanatic and it was no surprise to anyone that her future would lie in acting.
Beginning her career path at a young age, Rickards submersed herself into musical theatre and dance. Itching to formally start acting on a more expansive scale, she graduated high school early and took off to Vancouver Film School to complete the Acting Essentials Program.
Soon after completion of the program, she attended an open call audition and landed her first agent. Since then she has studiously focused on clarifying her craft and has become fascinated with human behaviour in both the world of acting and in the real world around her.
