Bio

I.K. Osakioduwa is a Nigerian radio DJ and television presenter best known as the host of the reality competition television series Big Brother Africa, replacing KB Ngakane as of September 2009.

He was also a field presenter on the M-Net magazine programme Studio 53.

Born in the city of Lagos, western Nigeria, Ikponmwosa Osakioduwa (I.K., as he likes to be called), spent most of his early life traveling around Nigeria, thanks to his fathers career in the army.

His primary education was in Kaduna, Northern Nigeria and later on he moved back to Lagos, where he completed his secondary and tertiary education.

He studied Economics at the University of Lagos. While studying he took part in many stage plays and concerts, where he discovered and groomed his talent as a Master of Ceremonies.

After graduating from University in 2001, I.K. worked for Rhythm 93.7 FM, as a presenter popularly known as The Wild Child (thanks to his humorous and unpredictable personality).

However, in compliance with the Nigerian Youth Service Corps, which is a one-year mandatory service of all graduate Nigerians, he had to leave the radio station to serve in a neighbouring state.

I.K. has also worked in an advertising firm as a Client Service Executive, and in 2005 he returned to the radio station, Rhythm 93.7, and retained the name The Wild Child.

TVSA blogger Brown Shuga broke the news on Monday 24 August that I.K. would be the next host of Big Brother Africa, which was later confirmed by M-Net. Source.

In 2013 he was co-host of the first ever AfricaMagic Viewers' Choice Awards.
