Official trailer released for M-Net crime thriller Devil's Peak about a vigilante serial killer on the loose in Cape Town and the SAPS operation to take him down, led by an erratic detective. Trailer's pacey but clichéd as it ends with the lines: "Whoever did this - he's going to do it again,". Uh... been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Premieres Sunday 29 October at 20h00, movie moves to 21h00. >>

The synopsis:

The show follows talented but broken detective Benny Griessel (Hilton Pelser), who is tasked with tracking down righteous yet bloody vigilante serial killer Thobela Mpayipheli (Sisanda Henna), whose crimes are capturing the imagination of the city.

Whilst circling one another, Benny and Thobela are brought into the orbit of desperate trapped single mother Christine (Tarryn Wyngaard), willing to do anything to achieve a better life for herself and her daughter.

The fates of these three characters become inextricably linked as the series builds to its explosive climax.

There are five episodes in total.
