Bio
Candice Derman is a South African actress, presenter and author best known for her soap opera starring roles as Stephanie in Backstage, as Blue in Generations and as Samantha Young in Scandal!.
She launched her career in 1998 when she hosted the M-Net live show Live@Five. Her television work includes Dyna Jets for KTV, Tell Tale Heart for BBC TV, Legend of the Hidden City and Oracle, which Candice presented.
She also appeared in the films 25 Degrees South, Going Up, Red Tide, Lock-Up and The Witness.
In 2011 she published an autobiography called Indescribable, in which she paints a detailed picture of the trauma she went through as a child when she was abused almost daily by her stepfather.
