Bio

(Biography written by Eden Riegel, courtesy of her official website)

I was born on January 1st in Washington, DC. Since that time I have been fortunate enough to travel all over the country and the world, but have come to call New York City my home.

For a while I lived like any kid in a suburb of D.C. in Virginia. But in 1988 Les Miserables came to town casting the part of Young Cosette in the touring production of the show. I got the part, and toured with the show for a year, traveling to 26 cities in the U.S. with my grandmother, before being brought to Broadway - where I played Cosette for another two years.

After that, I moved to New York permanently, and became a working actor. For ten years I paid my dues working in theatre - on Broadway and Off - and began to branch out into film and television.

I was in the Will Rogers Follies on Broadway, where I learned, among other things, to tap dance and Western Rope (which have been surprisingly handy skills). I was also in shows at the Manhattan Theater Club, Circle in the Square, Bay Street Theater, Circle Rep Theater Lab, and John Houseman Theater.

In 1995 I was cast as Meghan Cooper, the daughter of Patti D'Arbanville, on New York Undercover, a police drama. I was also seen in a guest-staring role on Law and Order, and as Heather, an AIDS patient, on As the World Turns.

You might remember me from the hit film American Pie, where I played an innocent sophomore, Sarah, first experiencing the loud and lewd antics of Steve Stiffler at my first house party. And you can see me in the film Henry Hill, which stars Moira Kelley.

In addition to playing the Young Miriam in DreamWorks' animated musical picture Prince of Egypt, starring Ralph Fiennes, Val Kilmer, and Sandra Bullock, I can be heard as a soloist on the soundtrack of Sean Penn's drama The Crossing Guard, starring Jack Nicholson. I have sung on the four Broadway Kids CDs, and did backup vocals for Michael Jackson and Jewel.

I spent the first half of this summer back in my hometown, in our nation's capital, interning at the White House. In an office of intelligent and dynamic people, I learned first-hand about politics and public service - areas in which I became interested at college.

My education has always been a top priority for me. I am currently on leave from Harvard University, where I study political and social theory.

At school I take part in many activities that remain extremely important to me, including the Radcliffe Pitches (my a cappella singing group), the Seneca, the Hasty Pudding, and the Crimson Key Society.

Someday I will return to school to get my degree and resume these activities, but in the meantime I am looking forward to a different kind of education, in a field that will always be my primary passion.

I was thrilled to join the cast of All My Children in the show's 31st year, as Bianca.
