Bio
Gideon Lombard is a Namibian-born South African actor, writer and musician best known for his starring role as Stefan Gerber in the kykNET soap opera Suidooster. It was his first starring role in television.
Other television series he has apepared in include the kykNET comedy series Treknet and the Starz pirate drama Black Sails.
He has also acted in a number of films and short films including Lien se Lankstaanskoene, Jimmy in Pienk, White Collar Mischief, Die Versoening van Daniel du Randt, Twee Grade van Moord, Rebel Rose and Game Changer.
Gideon has an extensive theatre resume, appearing in productions including Stressed to Kill, Twelfth Night, Curse of the Starving Class, The Milk Train Doesn't Stop Here Anymore, Nagwond, House of Usher, Sex in the Suburbs, Mother Courage, The View, Porgy and Bess, Bidsprinkaan and Orpheus in Africa.
He graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BA in English, Philosophy and Classics, and did his Honours (cum laude) in theatre and performance.
