Shocker!Mzansi's power couple Connie and Shona Ferguson are following in the footsteps of Gwyneth "I-love-myself" Paltrow and her long suffering husband Chris Martin. Word from a very well placed source in-the-know is that the Fergusons have called it splitsville. Believe it! They'll be announcing their separation later today. Apparently they've waited to make it public on this first day of April so as not to spoil people's summer.
With summer over, the couple feel that we'll be better able to handle the news with the prospect of the imminent cold and generally miserable weather.
Of course the big question is why? Word from a close friend of Connie's - who spoke to TVSA exclusively - is that it was primarily Connie's decision. The couple have been suffering creative differences on Rockville which they've kept very hush-hush.
Also, Connie's grown tired of Shona hogging the PVR. Much more importantly though is the fact that Connie's irritated by Shona's style. She's been wanting him to shave his beard for years and he refuses.
Word from our source is that their creative differences, competition for fame and her demands are making Shona feel like a fool.
