As spilt on TVSA last week,
Selimathunzi's long-time presenter
Mncedi 'Kaos' Matu's leaving the show so SABC1's launching a talent search to find a new presenter to take over from him.
The auditions start on Saturday, 12 March and will be happening in Jozi, Durban, Bloemfontein, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
To audition you need to be a guy between the ages of 21 and 25 and be able to speak any of the Nguni languages.
Audition Must-KnowsYou need to take your ID book along.
You can arrive and do your thang. You'll need to present as if you're on the show.
Our advice: choose a couple of example events that you can "cover" in your audition. This way you're prepared for any eventuality. If the Seli crew give you a specific brief in the audition then you can go with whatever they give you. If they don't, you'll know that you have something up your sleeve.
Also, by experimenting with examples before you'll have a strong sense of the vibe and energy you want to convey.
Give them something that makes you
memorable. Something that stands out about you, either in what you wear or what you have to say or how you say it.
Don't let them forget you.
Auditions start at 09h00 but you're advised to get there as early as possible.
