Season 4
DeAnna Pappas, the 26-year-old Neunan, Georgia real estate agent who was twice rejected by The Bachelor 11 star Brad Womack, will serve as the object of affection for 25 bachelors in The Bachelorette's fourth season.
The Bachelor 11 ended with Womack not presenting his final rose to either of his final two suitors - Pappas or Jenni Croft. He subsequently rejected Pappas a second time during The Bachelor's After The Final Rose episode.
Now it's her turn... and she's getting a little help from her friends...
This season, instead of only handing out one "first impression" rose at the initial cocktail party, DeAnna will be handing out three bouquets. She will be assisted by fellow The Bachelor reject Jenni Croft, who will help her determine who should get one of those roses.
Another big change this season is that instead of living in the usual lap of luxury, the suitors will live in an "unspectacular bunkhouse" which will be "down the hill" from DeAnna's own mansion.
All is not lost for the boys, however - at various stages during the season DeAnna will invite trios of them to live with her in the mansion.
The Bachelorette's fourth season will begin with the 25 men arriving at the cocktail party and immediately attempting to woo DeAnna, who appears wearing a sexy gold dress.
She will immediately present one of the rose bouquets to a suitor whose "quiet charm" quickly catches her attention and will offer the second one to the suitor who came out on top following her conversation with Jenni.
With only one boutonniere left to present, the men waste no time in attempting to impress her - and some of their methods could be considered strange.
A Canadian sales manager reveals he's wearing a thong with DeAnna's name on it; a Bostonian greets her in Greek; a professional snowboarder arrives in flourescent sneakers and a flamboyant jacket; an oyster farmer presents her with a pearl necklace; a chef whips up a crab cocktail; and a martial arts master kicks a lemon off another suitor's head.
All of this leads up to DeAnna eliminating 10 of the 25 men, leaving the rest of them to compete in a season that will include group dates to the set of Ellen DeGeneres' talk show, Dodger Stadium; a stock car track, and a dude ranch, as well as a singing contest that will end with the winner accompanying DeAnna to a private Natasha Bedingfield concert.
Once DeAnna narrows to the field to her final six bachelors, she and the men will travel to Palm Springs for a romantic getaway that will include a special one-on-one date at Frank Sinatra's former home.
Similar to The Bachelor's format, DeAnna will also visit the hometowns of her final four suitors and give her final two the chance to meet her family.
