And the fifth and final shark on Shark Tank SA is... telecommunications expert, commercial strategist and Bassie Kumalo's husband Romeo Kumalo.
Romeo will be putting his money on the line on the upcoming first South African season of the reality hit show along with previously announced sharks Gil Oved, Marnus Boordyk, Dawn-Nathan Jones and Vinny Lingham.
Romeo has a Masters Degree in Commerce and boasts executive management certificates from various instititions including Harvard Business school.
He's currently the CEO of Washirika (Pty) Limited, a pan African investment holdings and private equity company with investments in the communication, construction, clean energy and ICT sectors.
In South Africa, his more than 20 years’ worth of experience in the information, communication and telecoms industries includes his appointment to the Board of Vodacom South Africa as Executive Commercial Director in 2007. He was also a member of the Vodacom Group Executive Committee until 2015.
