Mandlakazi warns Selo about the dangers of drinking when he is an alcoholic. Things are tense in the Namane household on the day of Tsietsi's court date. Tsietsi consults Bab'Nkomonde before his court appearance. Ma'Mazibuko tries to get Nkonzo to take blessed water ahead of his confrontation with Tsietsi.

Tsietsi is shocked when Bab'Nkomonde's muti doesn't help with his court trial. The wedge between Mandlakazi and Selo grows. Mandlakazi berates Mpho for opening the gift from Monwabisi. Reba takes over Tsietsi's office. Damian and Violet butt heads over planning Gog' Joyce's funeral.

Reba focuses her attention on reviving Namane Funerals, and making sure that Tsietsi is not freed. Nokulunga disapproves of Tsietsi’s dalliances with Pinki. Tsietsi receives a mysterious message. Damian encourages Stitch to man-up and take the lead with Reba.

Selo sleeps in his car and leaves everybody worried. Violet and Damian get frustrated when they can’t get help from Selo or Reba. Nkonzo is waiting to pounce on his prey. Reba is tortured by her guilt at acting unethically. Damian helps Selo cover his reeking breath.

Mandlakazi warms to Selo after he stands up for the family against Nkonzo. Tsietsi pays Reba a visit after realising that she set him up. The Armed Forces refuse to deal with Reba due to her behaviour during the pitch.

It's a big day at Namane Funerals as the soldiers are transported. Selo arrives home from a night of drinking. Reba makes a mistake that gravely impacts the company. Violet defends a heartbroken Stitch and Damian has to deal with an angry, bereaved couple.

Selo joins MaKhoza at Kgosi’s resturant to relive his stress. Mpho has a strange dream about Tsietsi. Tsietsi is strengthening himself with Nkomonde's muti. Tsietsi sends Mpho a gif for the baby. Stitch announces his resignation to Namane funerals.

Damian and Violet start looking for people to interview for the mortician position. Nkonzo approaches Buzwe and tries to discourage him from taking Tsietsi's case.

The Namanes butt heads as they prepare for the family ceremony. Selo's financial decisions come back to haunt him. Nkonzo ignores his suspension and goes back on the hunt for Tsietsi.

Mpho goes to lay flowers on Monwabisi's grave. Mandlakazi meets Buzwe and likes him. Nkonzo pushes Buzwe the wrong way and he punches him.
