Mapula is beginning to act in a very unstable fashion. Thandeka has a plan for enacting maximum revenge on David. David invites Zinzi and Selina to move into his penthouse. Information from Jamaica sends Fats on the hunt for Zama’s father. Jimmy encourages David to check the security footage of Thandeka.

David professes his undying love and devotion for Thandeka. Thandeka continues her plan to take him down. Dumisani and Dineo beg Emmanuel to help them find Mapula. Fats meets with Thabiso and is surprised by what he hears.

Thandeka’s frustrated when she hears it will take a while to decipher the data from David’s laptop. Emmanuel realises that something is wrong with Mapula. The next morning Mamokete sees Mapula coming out of the back room. Fats reassures Bulelwa that he handled the situation with Thabiso.

Solomon and Thandeka struggle to access the data taken from David’s laptop. David moves in with Thandeka as she plots his demise. Fats believes Thabiso when he says he sincerely wants to be a part of Zama’s life. Emmanuel discovers that Mapula was raped.

Episode 2220
David suggests that he and Thandeka go on holiday to the Cayman Islands, but he is shocked by what he discovers. David tells Thandeka they have to go on the run - she tries to delay him.
Bulelwa relents and agrees to let Thabiso meet Zama. Mapula and Emmanuel have everything organised to travel down to Durban on an overnight bus.

Thandeka has a hard time convincing Maponya that she’s on his side. David suspects that Brenda and Bongi stabbed him in the back. Sis Bee tells Mapula that the social workers are coming on Frida. Bulelwa is suddenly grateful that her son has met his real father.

Episode 2222
David is arrested, and his anguish is increased when Solomon tells him who has been conspiring against him. Emmanuel tells Mapula he can’t see her any more. Thandeka tells Maponya that she loves David. Sis Bee is heartbroken when Rose returns to town, but Rose has devastating secrets of her own.

Mapula skips school, trying to hide her worry. Kop breaks the news to Jafta that Rose has a boyfriend. Thandeka thinks she’s managed to fool David and Solomon.

David is on the verge of a breakdown. He sends Jimmy to recover money from Thandeka for him. Fearing the kids will be taken away, Mapula turns to Bra Honest for help, forced to use her body as a bargaining chip. Jafta is mortified by Rose’s affair and promises to stop seeing Sis Bee.

Maponya finds Thandeka and gives her a warning. Mapula’s tense in anticipation of the social worker’s visit. Sabelo convinces a social worker that he is employed and is able to support the family. Rose and Jafta are only making everybody miserable.

Bongi is not happy to find Lerato at the hospital. When Lerato returns to the hospital later in the day she has a face-off with Bongi. Bra Honest finds Mapula in the shack and is about to rape her when Sabelo arrives. Thabiso takes Zama on an outing.

Episode 2227
Fats is gutted when he hears Zama refer to Thabiso as his father. It becomes clear that Solomon needs help with managing the artists. Doc wakes from his coma. Bongi moves back into the house.

Fats fears that Bulelwa might fall for Thabiso all over again. David realises that Jimmy has abandoned him. When Doc hears that Bongi will be the one looking after him, and not Lerato, he can’t help being slightly disappointed. Lerato manipulates Solomon into giving her a job.

Doc insists on returning home. Fats doesn’t know how to handle the situation with Thabiso. Lerato is appointed as Solomon’s PA. David is evicted, and finds the least likely place to shack up.

Doc’s proving to be an impossible patient. Bongi and Doc are worried when Zinzi disappears. Suffocate tells Fats why Thabiso’s wife is divorcing him. David is desperately trying to get his life back on track.

Bulelwa has an unpredictable reaction to Thabiso’s proposal of sex. Brenda has had enough of David and kicks him out. Bongi struggles to make a connection with Zinzi and seeks advice from an unlikely source.

Solomon invites Lerato to move in with him. Lerato and Bongi fight for a place on Doc’s side. Bongi loses her temper with Zinzi and Doc. David grooms Brenda and cashes in on her upgrade. Bulelwa ends up in a compromising position with Thabiso.

Fats realises that Thabiso was revving up the night before and has not yet paid damages. Puleng moves into her new home. David’s comeback plan is to rebrand Brenda as a high-class prostitute, but Brenda has other concerns.

Zama gets lost while trying to find his father. Puleng gets unexpected good news. Sifiso breaks Reneilwe’s heart when he tells her that he can’t take her to the J&B Met. Lerato is disappointed when she moves in with Solomon.

Cuba is distressed when she learns about Puleng’s pregnancy from an outside source. Lerato knows that she has to prove herself to Solomon. Bulelwa is lying to Fats, and he feels increasingly insecure.
