Azwindini, Vho-Masindi and Mulimisi try to decipher the painting and are left rattled and uncertain. Thandaza vows to prove that Imani is punishing the family and playing mind games. Carol reaches out to Matshidiso and they break into Nthabeleng’s office.

Thandaza finds the building she believes Imani is hiding in. She storms in. Mashudu steals a pair of shoes from Mulimisi’s hut. Carol decides to learn the true paternity of her child.

Muvhango finally gets to take a photo of Mashudu but he decides to delete it. Pfuluwani tries to poison Vho-Masindi. Thandaza finds herself at the wrong place at the wrong time. And then her world completely falls apart. Matshidiso delivers on her promise to manipulate the paternity test results.

Pfuluwani comes face to face with a dead man. Matshidiso gets her hands on Khutjo’s paternity results.

Imani's disappearance is now being treated as a murder investigation. Pfuluwani has been committed to a mental institution. Matshidiso swaps the DNA results in Nthabeleng's office.

Mashudu's captor is finally revealed and it's someone very close to the family. Ranthumeng stages a protest at the police station. Morapedi and Lerumo finally learn whose son Khutjo is.

Ranthumeng and James have a heated arguement. Mashudu spots Nenzhelele lurking around his grave.
Matshidiso plans to use the DNA results against Carol.

A body that fits Imani's description has come into the morgue and Ranthumeng has to identify it.
Muvhango is almost kidnapped by Nenzhelele while Azwindini comes face to face with Mashudu.
Matshidiso puts it in Morapedi's mind that Khutjo is his and Morapedi demands a second DNA test.

Mankosi is in denial about Imani until Ranthu walks into the house. Azwindini sets out to find his son but is disappointed. And then Mulimisi sees something in the bones that is both good and bad news.
Morapedi confronts Carol about his father's wedding proposal to her. Tensions reach boiling point in the mansion.

Mankosi and Ranthumeng have an altercation. Mashudu shows Azwindini the place where Muvhango was being kept. Carol pleads with Morapedi to come back.

Ranthumeng tries to distract himself from loneliness and pain but has to face it. Azwindini is about to announce that Mashudu is a ghost when Nenzhelele arrives carrying Muvhango. Carol has decided to go to her mother's with Khutjo much to Lerumo's shock.

KK leaks Thandaza's story to the press. Mankosi is unwell but she hides it from everyone. Vho-Masindi embraces Nenzhelele as Muvhango's rescuer.

The newspaper article on Thandaza has far reaching effects. Nenzhelele seems to be in control at the Royal House but Mulimisi is onto him. Matshidiso once again realises the Mojalefa Mansion has slipped through her fingers.

Bloodstained clothes are found in Thandaza's car. Sthe cannot afford to pay his university fees. Nenzhelele threatens to harm Mashudu's family if he doesn't give himself up.
