Doc and Solomon threatened to kill Mbulelo. Thandeka turns to David to help her find out what Doc and Solomon are hiding. Niki is torn between her love for Suffocate and lust for Themba. Emmanuel hints at the idea that Mapula should start a takkie washing business.

David convinces Thandeka to dig into Doc and Solomon’s past. What she finds has her shaken to the core. Mapula lays down new terms for her and Emmanuel’s takkie business. Themba decides to cool things off with Niki.

Thandeka remains convinced that Solomon is her father. Suffocate convinces Themba to get a girlfriend. Kop tells Emmanuel that he must start contributing to the house.

Doc discovers that Thandeka thinks Solomon is her father. Both Bash and Puleng ask Niki what’s going on with Themba. Mapula discovers that Sabelo has stolen the money she saved to repay the mashonisa.

Emmanuel moves the takkie business to the Khuse yard. Themba tries to have fun with Fikile. Solomon drops a bombshell on Thandeka and David.

Niki encourages Themba to charm Fikile. Mapula is heartbroken to discover that Emmanuel used her money without asking for her permission. Doc hunts for Thandeka.

Thandeka and Doc have a heated confrontation. Themba struggles to create a relationship with Fikile. Niki is torn between Suffocate and Themba but finally makes a choice. Emmanuel and Mapula’s friendship breaks down.

Doc struggles at Red without Thandeka. Zinzi accuses Doc of driving Thandeka away. Themba sleeps with Fikile. David and Thandeka connect.

David encourages Thandeka to seek revenge against Doc. This solidifies their newfound alliance. Mapula is still upset with Sabelo. She gets a house call from Bra Honest. Sabelo gets beaten up by thugs.

Solomon tries to persuade Thandeka not to demand Doc’s shares. When Doc offers her money as compensation, she is insulted and reiterates her demand.
Fikile confronts Niki about the SMSes and tells her to stay away from Themba. Mapula is devastated to discover that Sabelo has stolen some of her customers’ takkies.

Thandeka and Zinzi try hard to come to terms with what they have done. Mapula realizes that the takkies are gone. Puleng catches Themba and Niki red-handed.

David overhears Thandeka recommitting to Doc. Niki and Themba are in a state after Puleng busts them. Themba wants to run, but Niki says she wants to stay and face the music. Jafta is convinced that he’s going to win the Powerball draw.

David falls deeper into a depression over Thandeka’s betrayal, and he hatches the ultimate revenge against Thandeka. Rose tries to get her friends to play Powerball with her. Puleng gives Niki an ultimatum.

Cuba continues to badger Puleng into telling Suffo about Niki and Themba’s affair. David pays Bongi and Brenda to keep quiet about the crazy time together. Solomon suggests that they take Doc off life support. Bra Honest offers Mapula a way to repay him.

David and Thandeka plot Solomon’s downfall. Mapula and Sabelo fail to raise enough money. Niki and Themba decide to remain behind when everyone else is leaving for KZN. Kop talks Mamokete into becoming the treasurer of their Powerball stokvel.

Jimmy reports back to Thandeka and David. Thandeka is worried about why Solomon has not yet been arrested. Sabelo steals a pair of takkies and gives them to Bra Honest, but Bra Honest decides to be dishonest. Mamokete is taking her job as treasurer of the Powerball stokvel seriously.

The Dandala Christmas party turns into a nightmare. Bongi's resentment towards David and Thandeka grows. Kop turns Mamokete's house into a party spring. Mapula gets confirmation that Sabelo stole Bra Honest’s takkies.

Thandeka fears that the incarcerated Solomon will strike back. Brenda and Bongi try to blackmail David. Emmanuel tries to reach out to a broken Mapula. Sabelo’s guilt eats at him. Bra Honest returns to Mapula. The stokvel is divided when they have to share the dividends of their Powerball winnings.
