Episode 1
Newcomer Themba finds himself victim to a gang of pickpockets on the lively streets of Kofifi. His rescuer Styles introduces him to the swinging sounds of Dodo and the Harlem High Hats and the swift revenge of notorious gangster Bogart. The two young men fall hopelessly in love with beautiful back up singer Stella.
But behind-the-scenes, the characters are not what they seem. Prima donna actress, Kedi, threatens to sink the production and executive producer, Zwelakhe, must resort to extreme measures to save the day.

Episode 2
Themba and Styles compete for Stella’s attentions but lose out to a dangerous thug whose presence is mysterious when Stella’s humble home-life is revealed.
In the present: Kedi chooses an ill-timed moment to announce her engagement which disrupts production and upsets Xolile and Monty. Zoe’s joy of securing a job is forgotten as she struggles at home with a grandmother that keeps going missing.

Episode 3
Dodo makes it clear that she is the queen bee and that Stella belongs in her shadow. Meanwhile, Styles and Themba team up to find out more about Stella, but their rivalry gets the best of them.
Kedi’s good mood post her engagement is short-lived, threatening production. And Zoe’s job hangs in the balance.

Episode 4
Monty is missing from work and Kedi refuses to shoot. Zwelakhe takes a hard line with both of them. Mothusi takes revenge on Bandile for sabotaging him, and the two of them make a shocking discovery.

Episode 5
Themba gets a break in his quest to interview Stella while Styles’ worries about his financial situation. Kortes is recruiting to build a formidable gang but things go tragically wrong when Senzo is pushed too far.
Zwelakhe’s life hangs in the balance as Xolile and Mothusi try to revive him.

Episode 6
Stella is excited as she anticipates her interview, but is worried if it is the right thing to do.
Monty is determined to finish his day no matter what and Kedi is oblivious to the pandemonium around her.

Episode 7
Silas is desperate to find the briefcase he gave Zwelakhe which has mysteriously gone missing. Kedi is shocked by the way Silas responds to her and finds herself on the sidelines. Xolile receives shocking news.

Episode 8
When Neli threatens to shut Kofifi down, Xolile and Silas have to team together to convince her otherwise. Nathi gets inventive in order to get Queen out of his hair.
Themba’s interview with Stella gets off to a bad start but has electrifying and unexpected results.
Monday 14 September 2015
Episode 9
Mourners and well wishers overwhelm the family. Kedi’s wild behaviour backfires on her when Monty discovers via social media she is parting and not mourning.
Themba is determined to follow his heart, despite the curfew and dangers of travelling to Alexander at night without a pass. His risk has romantic rewards.

Episode 10
Xolile fears the worst about Monty when she finds incriminating evidence in his bag. Thabisile performs a cleansing on set and receives a disturbing message from the dead. Monty goes head to head with his new partner.
Stella finds inspiration from Themba’s gift much to Nox’s delight.

Episode 11
Monty turns the tables on Xolile and mother and son find themselves battling with trust issues. Zakes tries to help the family maintain dignity and falls for Kedi’s heartbreak performance which leaves him sleeping in his childhood room.
Themba and Stella both play down their feelings for each other.

Episode 12
Zoe is nervous and exhilarated as she finds herself the solution to Monty’s Kedi problem. Bheki meets Zoe’s family in chaotic circumstances. Godfrey receives a mysterious and frightening email.
Monday 21 September 2015
Episode 13
Things get tense with cast and crew when word gets out that the police are investigating a murder. Thabisile hides evidence that could implicate her and Bheki reveals a violent streak. Godfrey continues to be haunted by an anonymous whistle blower.
Meanwhile, in Kofifi, another investigation is afoot as the police seek to interrogate Senzo for the killing of Bom’ada.

Episode 14
A media feeding frenzy erupts which Silas cannot handle. A detective arrives and causes mayhem on set.
Meanwhile in Kofifi, Styles insists that Themba tells Stella the truth about his philandering ways, but things don’t turn out as expected. Senzo discovers a good reason to take up boxing.

Stella is terrifid her mother will see the article in Beat. Styles, Kortes and Tikkieboy see an opportunity that will put them in grave danger with The Germans.
And in the present, the Bambatha media scandal corners Silas into turning to an attractive and very determined stranger for help.

Episode 16
Pule begins his investigation of Zwelakhe’s murder, unnerving several suspects and making allies of others. Silas becomes increasingly anxious to find the missing briefcase and when Thabisile sets her mind to learning more about Detective Pule, some interesting material comes to light.

Episode 17
Stella is torn over her feelings for Themba. The Cowboys rob the General Store but things don’t go as they planned.
And in the present, Zwelakhe’s funeral plans cause dissent.

Episode 18
Silas tries to recruit Zakes to help him manage a situation with Monty. Salome makes a big impression on Zakes and Xolile, and Godfrey finds himself doubting the people he trusts and fearing for his safety.
In Kofifi - Kortes, Tikkieboy and Styles turn to Themba to protect them from a heist gone wrong.

Episode 19
The Germans come in hunt of the stolen goods and Themba, Styles and the guys find themselves in very hot water.
And in the present, Zwelakhe’s funeral brings together the people who loved him, in surprising ways.
