Special Notes

Mover of the Week

High Rollers on SABC3 increased from 438,000 viewers in Week 29 to 593,000 in Week 30, an aggregate increase in viewership of 35%.

Load Shedding on Friday 24 July

There was Stage 2 load shedding on this night which drove down the numbers of shows including the soapies, affecting their overall average. This is on top of the fact that these shows generally don't perform as well on Fridays, as people begin their weekend. This means that the large gap between Uzalo and other shows has been distorted by load shedding, as it only airs three days a week and avoided the drop-off the weekly soapies faced on the Friday.

Great SA content on SABC 1,etv and mzansi magic .we should be proud of the tv industry cz for the first in a long tym we are not longer forced fed american content on our tv screens .SAbC 3 needs a wake up call .all these talk shows and american content will not give u more viewers .

It's good to see HR ( High Rollers) picking up gradually. I kinda thought it might as time goes by. Not easy against Scandal. Zaziwa and Stumbo Stomb are the only non-scripted shows to make the top. mmh!

High rollers is great ,I am glad their ratings are becoming strong .I used feel excited about rating but they go through so much varifications that's why they don't come to TVSA on time .I have lost interest in them

Hi guys

We can only publish the TAMS when they are made available by the BRC, which is why they are usually a little behind. This time, however, there was an issue we had to sort out with the BRC regarding the TAMS which took a couple of weeks, which is why they are a little behind.

We'll be catching up as soon as we can - please bear with us.
